A sound of knock came in from the door to Song Chae-yeong's room.
"Chae-yeong, come out to the dining and have your meal." Her Aunt yelled out from the door.
Song Chae-yeong stood up sluggishly walked to the bathroom and quickly had a short time shower, She dressed up in a comfortable dress and walked out of the room to the dining where everyone had sat down to have their meal.
Chae-yeong walked to her seat and started eating her food silently.
After some minutes, then Park Min-Jin cleared his throat and started talking.
"Hmm Chae-yeong I know you heard all our discussion this afternoon, but it's for your good. What I mean is, why don't you just marry instead of wasting your time studying, huh? I know you don't like studying either, right?" park Min-Jin said calmly.
Song Chae-yeong raised her brow hastily with a cold expression before speaking up.
"No need to worry, uncle, I like to study and don't you think I'm too young to marry," Chae-Yeong said, raising her brow, and her mouth curved into a cold smile.
"Who told you that you're young? You're 18 years old, which means you will be an adult soon." Park Min-Jin raised his voice angrily, but Chae-yeong was calm like she wasn't affected and finished her last spoon before raising her head to see Park Min-Jin glaring at her like he was going to strangle her anytime now.
"Since uncle is so angry and looking for whom to give out to marry, why don't you just find a wife for your son to marry or probably a daughter to your Mistress from outside you could give out to marry." Song Chae-yeong said bravely, not afraid he could hit her like he used to be before.
"You…how dare you speak to me in that manner, when did you grow wings to talk to your elders like that?" Park Min-Jin said angrily and raised his hand to hit her, but his hand was hung in the air by a strong grab.
He looked up to see the hand that dared to grab him, but to his surprise, it was Song Chae-yeong, the little weak girl he used to hit grabbed his hand from hitting her today.
"You…..how dare you grab my hand, quickly release my hand, or you will hate yourself." Park Min-Jin said angrily his voice shaking from anger.
"Uncle don't be angry. But I'm not going to let you hit me from now on again. You are not entitled to raise your hand to hit me or touch my hair." Song Chae-Yeong said and released her forceful grip from his and released it before getting up from the dining chair and turning her attention to her Aunt who had been looking at what was going on but couldn't say anything because she feared her husband.
"Sorry Aunt, but I can't let your husband bully me again or force me to do what I don't want," Chae-yeong said softly, and her gaze fell back to Park Min-Jin, giving him a fierce, cold look that could make anyone tremble with fear.
"Is this how you teach your niece to behave with your husband or elderly person? You couldn't even say anything, huh? You know what, I don't want her in my house again, or you will both have to leave this house." Park Min-Jin angrily said and stormed out, kicking the table.
Kim Da-Eun stood up fearfully, seeing her husband angry would cause her a lot of trouble or even get beaten up.
She walked to Chae-yeong hurriedly;
"You should have let him be, I was thinking of a way to talk to him about this matter. Now, he's angry, who knows what he might do when he comes back drunk." Kim Da-Eun said with tears.
" I'm sorry, Aunt, it's just so tiring and annoying keeping quiet for him every day. I just couldn't hold back my anger now I've caused you trouble." Song Chae-yeong said feeling guilty about her Aunt.
" It's okay, just go inside your room, okay? I'll know how to coax him when he comes back and about the merry argument, I know he has someone who he wanted to give you out to marry, why don't you agree…" Aunt, what are you even saying?, agree to marry someone I don't love or at my young age." Song Chae-yeong said, cutting Kim Da-Eun shut from finishing her sentences.
"Ahh let me finish, I mean you should agree to meet the man he set for you then you will plead with the man that you're not ready for all this, and you have someone you love. You know, just settle the matter with the man, so the man can change his mind and your uncle will not disturb you for that again." Kim Da-Eun said sensibly.
Song Chae-Yeong thought about it and found some point in that, so she nodded in agreement she thought it was a good idea to also save her Aunt from this monster from hitting her because of her.
"Okay, I will, only because of you, because if it's only for me, I don't mind waiting for what he might do when he comes back, but for you then I will. But I don't have someone I love, but I'll know how I settle the matter with the unknown man." Chae-yeong said calmly.
" How about that man you're following up and down, aren't you guys dating? I thought you loved him, right?" Kim Da-Eun asked when Song Chae-Yeong said she didn't have who she loved.
"Loved not love, meaning I'm a changed person and I hate him now. I just need to face my studies and study hard, and besides, I'm going back to my father soon. If my father doesn't come to look for me, then I will go myself, and I need to avenge what they did to my mother because they caused her death and my twin brother is also there, I'm scared, that evil woman and her daughter may harm him." Song Chae-yeong said coldly with sadness and anger fuming in her eyes, while her Aunt stared at her fearfully.
She noticed Song Chae-yeong's mood had changed. "Since when she comes back from school, she's changed now. But is that possible, or did she fight with that man? They left together happily in the morning… What happened to her changes?" Kim Da-Eun thought with so many questions in her head.
" Do you fight with him? You both left together for school today. But your mood seemed changed from before, and you looked so scary like you wanted to kill someone." Kim Da-Eun said worriedly.
" Don't need to worry about Aunt, nothing happened. I just feel like changing and throwing away the stupid, foolishness, and the old me away and choosing a new version of myself. So I am new and reborn now, and I need to throw away the old people who have a bad intention towards me and give them the taste of their medicine." Song Chae-yeong said, smiling but cold and fiercely like she was going to be mean to some people.
"Okay. Go inside." Kim Da-Eun said didn't want to think much about what she said and urged her to go to her room.
