"We're here, young Miss," the chauffeur said and stepped out of the car to open the door for Chae Yeong, but it was too late because she had already opened it herself and stepped out.
The chauffeur bowed his head slightly while Chae Yeong nodded and walked up to the gate.
She pressed the alarm and waited for a response. And just then, the gate was opened, and the security man greeted and bowed politely, "Welcome back, Young Miss."
Chae Yeong nodded with a slight smile and walked into the gate, walking forward and into the house.
She met her dad and Dal Rae, her stepmother, chatting and laughing.
She sneered and walked forward to the stairs, but her father stopped her.
"Didn't you see me and your mother are here, huh? You're so full of yourself and disrespectful to elders." Her father yelled angrily at her.
"I don't disrespect elders. I just didn't greet you since I'm no longer your daughter," Chae Yeong said coldly and rolled her eyes.
