After we've defeated the demon king, we make our way to report towards
the guild.
[Hi, soldier-san! We can stop evacuating the residents now! Also, that clerk
is now free to go, okay?] (Sybilla)
Sybilla is picking up the treasures that have fallen from the demon king
once it vanished and she picked up something in particular.
It seems to be a golden coin where a part seems to be peeled out and a
shade of stone can be seen inside.
It's the best evidence to identify who is the real culprit behind the fake
money and counterfeiting.
[We took care of the man who's behind this crime and as unfortunate as it
seems, we can't arrest and have to kill him off as he's keen on destroying
the city.] (Sybilla)
[This is indeed the same type of money that was used in counterfeiting in
buying off several luxuries and jewelries…! Thank you very much and we
shall report this matter to the higher ups!] (Soldier)
The soldier salutes to Sybilla then turns to his colleagues informing them of
what happened before leaving the guild.
In exchange, the leader of Gale Thunder who's been standing by
approaches us.
[You guys are so superb, really..!] (Leader of GT)
[Right?~ You can sing more of that. Oh by the way, the real culprit was that
shadow, the demon king we've seen before. But we still somehow
managed! We've got Eve-chan afterall!] (Sybilla)
Sybilla then takes Eve to stand before the leader of Gale Thunder.
She spoke with such a loud voice and emotion as she showcased the girl to
everyone inside the guild's hall.
[Such a little girl… Wait, don't tell me she already has a class of her own?]
(leader) TL: Classes are provided to them at age of 15
[Precisely! This girl from the orphanage and is actually a level 21 Assassin!
This child has a good head between her shoulders and a reliable instinct!]
(Sybilla)
[Is she one of your party members?] (leader)
[Oh, this child is working SOLO tho.] (Sybilla)
When Sybilla exaggeratedly said the word 'SOLO', Eve got caught so off
guard she turned her head around to look at her and said 'huh…?'.
She must have thought that she's working as a party member. Still, Sybilla
caresses the confused child's head before giving her a wink to assure her.
[Hey, so you're called Eve?] (leader)
[Y-yes…] (Eve)
[If you're okay with it, why don't you come with us? More like, we really
need capable hands so won't you consider joining us?.] (leader)
Eve was just a pickpocketing orphan just the other day but now, she's
getting a direct invite from the leader of the city's top adventuring parties.
[B-but I..] (Eve)
[We only have a single girl to rely on for our vanguard with her evasion,
you see. I respect her but I think she's carrying a very heavy burden. So if
you could maybe help us, then…] (leader)
[ah, uhm, I am working as well to assist the orphanage, so if it's okay with
you, as long as I'll get paid, I'd be willing to join on a part time basis.]

The leader of the Gale Thunder then turns to his back and a girl then moves
forward and leans down to talk to Eve. She's the assassin I healed
previously who's working as Gale Thunder's vanguard.
[I am surprised that the orphanage raised a child as gifted as you. I look
forward to working with you by my side.]
[Ah… T – thanks!]
Eve bows her head and the girl cheerfully strokes her head.
I thought that Sybilla would be taking Eve with us to the party knowing
how much she likes her but… I realized the flaw of that after seeing what
had happened just now.
Eve has to earn to be able to support the orphanage and the kids younger
than her. And that can only be possible if she found a stable job here in this
very city.
But us, on the other hand… has now accomplished our objective by
defeating the demon king and has no more reason to stay in this place.
…So yeah. Eve will serve as the pillar of the orphanage and she can't go
with us any further.
The battle against the demon king was the last time we're together fighting.
That's why Sybilla made an effort for Eve to be noticed by an established
adventuring party that would allow her to have it easier working in the
dungeons in the future.
Seeing how each and everyone of Gale Thunder happily accepted Eve, I see
a new side of Sybilla having such a gentle and warm expression as if she's
looking at her own daughter getting out of her protection.
After wrapping up the talks inside the guild, as now's a good time, Sybilla
invites me and Emmy to go to a certain place.
Towards a place where the city's celebratory cheers will not reach.
A quiet place that can oversee the seas while being far off from the city.
And on it is a large building with wide opened windows in it.
[This is… an abandoned church..? No, this place must be…] (Russell)

Eve repeatedly taps Fredrica after saying so before she finally lets her go.
[I didn't think that I had to carry everything, y'see, especially about the
stolen money. That goddess-sama over there helped me a lot y'know. She's
really blessed me.] (Eve)
Eve points toward Sybilla while saying so.
Fredrica then looks at us with mixed expressions of happiness and a bit of
an anger before bowing her head to Sybilla.

[No need to mention it. Let's go inside first then talk. These two can't get
the gist of things yet after all.] (Sybilla)
She's probably talking about me and Emmy. I mean, the two of our gazes
just met and it's funny how the both of us can just tilt our heads.
As for what would be talked about inside… It must be the reason why
Fredrica is in this place.
Still, there are two things I discovered while listening to their conversation.
One is that this is the orphanage where Eve is living.
And Fredrica is somehow involved as well in this orphanage.
