"I am not charity, get going" Lord Typhon pulled back her sleeves to maintain decency. He was slowly losing his patience, Truth be told Patience was never one of his Virtues.
Lady Sapphire lips quirked up slightly at the mention of charity, Men where no charity.
"Milord You're the first to refuse me, how about we make a deal"
His response was a slightly raised eyebrow. She wasn't deterred
"I can help you Milord" She lowered her voice to a conspiratorial whisper although he could hear her perfectly.
Sapphire rubbed the back of her neck and closed her eyes as she continued
"I noticed your men wore heavy chains with Pomegranates made out of the gold of Parvaim, Swords forged out from pure steel with bronze belt fastened unto their hip region" She stated her observations with a frown
"Those are the Trade Mark of Hivites"
She thought they were barbaric, why all this old fashioned arts, wasn't the chains heavy on their neck. Some wore leather straps to cover their lower body as their upper torso was visible
With A Sigh She Reopened her eyes as she noticed their toned flex of muscles, her face reddened on sight
Typhon eyes darkened as he became aware of what this craze woman was staring at. Shameless!!!
"If I recall, Creedom aren't yet to be civilized so what gave us out?"
"Your interesting looking ride" She bluntly said
He chuckled, shaking his head
"You mean Our Stallions, Unlike Creedom We don't ride a horse, those are for the Feeble" He spat arrogantly
He saw her hands clench into fists at her sides and kept a careful eye on her.
"Creedom and the Eastern regions don't wear Vintage as we are adopting civilization from the western culture, I believe your barbaric culture is against the western culture"
Realizing she had gone out of line, she bit her lips and tried calming down
"I spoke out of line, I Apologize"
"For a damsel in distress, you have an unbridled tongue "He pointed out seriously
Lord Typhon's First in Command, Asahel called out to him. He turned and saw another of his soldiers talking to Asahel and both were starting at Sapphire
"What is it?" Lord Typhon shouted.
Asahel explained as he walked towards him
"The King" He glanced at Sapphire before he continued.
"Is requesting your presence"
Typhon asked "Send words I'm out of town"
"It's urgent Milord, it has something to do with Hittites"
Typhon agreed. He took Asahel aside to give him orders and finally turned back to her
"Go home"
"Home! I have no home" Sapphire irritably said as she pinched the bridge of her nose, she needed help and he was the only one who could give it to her. He held high status, she could tell from the way his men respected him. She needed to save her face then think about her pride later.
"I've lost everything, I'm now vulnerable"She explained as she bowed her head while fighting the terror inside
"I feel offended woman, how desperate are you to get to the top? Although I have met desperate women but none had the nerves to try and use me"
Horrified, she frantically shook her head
"My apologies ___ But please understand I'm doing this for equal interest"
"Get going, I got no business in your damned interest woman " He tried dismissing her
"Take me with you "She pleaded
"And why should I help you?" He raised an eyebrow effortlessly
"Milord you have no child" She stated the obvious
His eyes narrowed dangerously at her.
All things considered, Sapphire thought she handled herself quite well. She might have paled but she did not faint, Here was she offering herself to him.
She took solace in one certainty,'IT WAS FOR HER SON SAKE'. Thanks to ARACHEMEDES she had read some where about the strange Unprolific causing Women in Hittites to be childless. Great! Now this was her Tix to Hilp....
"And how does that bother you?"
As far as she knew, He probably thought she was a Whore.
"You help me, I help you"
She had weighed the good against the bad on one hand, she would be safe under his protection.
On the other hand, He might not even need her servitude as Men like him always had pretty Women at their finger tips..
Lord Typhon wasn't certain how to proceed. In truth, he was astonished that she wanted to use him . Did she not understand the danger she was getting into?
He decided to enlighten her but before he could explain how precarious her situation was she said,
"I hope you don't mind, but your men keep gawking at me like they want to devour me"
Lord Typhon glanced over his shoulder, found Asahel in the crowd of men straining in on their conversation and tilted his head towards Sapphire
From the look on Lord Typhon's face, Asahel knew the Lord was displeased, He turned to signal his disapproval but none would spare him a glance. They were fully occupied watching her. He walked closer to two idiots as he swiftly slammed their heads together, that got their attention
"EYES OFF THE LADY"..
