Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: infighter part 2

The fight between Jin Hwa and Seok Jun raged on, and it was evident that they were both pushing their limits. However, their endurance and fighting styles differed significantly. Jin Hwa, with his enhanced endurance from his experiences with the System, displayed remarkable stamina. In contrast, Seok Jun, the skilled infighter, relied on his agility and quick reflexes to keep up the relentless assault.

The battle between the two opponents continued, a grueling and lengthy exchange that tested their strength, resilience, and determination.

As the fight between Jin Hwa and Seok Jun raged on, the scene switched to Ha Joon, who was regaining his strength after the effects of the Sloth's Dominion. He watched the two combatants relentlessly battling, biding his time for the perfect moment to strike.

With a sudden surge of determination, Ha Joon grabbed a knife, waiting for Jin Hwa to be momentarily off guard. That's when he would make his move. In a climactic moment, he charged forward, screaming, "Jin Hwa!!"

Jin Hwa, engrossed in the intense fight, reacted too late to Ha Joon's attack. The knife found its mark, thrust into Jin Hwa's thigh. With a sense of urgency, Jin Hwa realized, "Shit, I noticed it too late!" With swift thinking, he used his other leg to kick Ha Joon, hitting him in the ribs and causing Ha Joon to stagger.

Seok Jun, seizing the opportunity presented by this momentary distraction, launched a powerful right jab into Jin Hwa's side.

As Ha Joon struggled to stand after being kicked in the ribs, Jin Hwa, despite his own injuries, realized he had no choice but to summon the glaive. With a determined expression, he materialized the glaive out of thin air and decided to make his move.

Summoning all the remaining strength in his body, Jin Hwa charged at Seok Jun with the glaive. Seok Jun was taken aback, his thoughts racing as he wondered, "What? How did that appear? In thin air?"

Before he could comprehend the situation, the glaive was already pointed menacingly at his face. Jin Hwa warned, "If you wish to continue, I will not hesitate to stick this glaive into your skull." The tense standoff left Seok Jun with no choice but to surrender, marking the end of the intense battle.

In the midst of the intense standoff, Seok Jun couldn't help but curse his luck, thinking, "Shit, if it weren't for that weapon, I could have killed you."

With a heavy sigh and a sense of resignation, he finally spoke, "I surrender for now. You got lucky because of your weapon." The battle had reached its conclusion, and Jin Hwa's resolute stance, along with the glaive, had compelled Seok Jun to yield.

Ha Joon's reaction was a mix of disbelief and frustration. He exclaimed, "Is that it? You surrendered, hyung?" He couldn't believe that Seok Jun had given up in the heat of the battle.

Seok Jun responded to Ha Joon's comment with annoyance, retorting, "Shut up! If it weren't for your mindless actions, I could have won. So, shut your mouth and stop whining g." The tension between them was palpable, and the situation remained complicated.

As Seok Jun and Ha Joon continued their argument, the scene shifted to Jin Hwa, who had decided to leave the scene. He made his way home with ragged clothes and a few fresh bruises from the intense battle. With a contemplative expression, he pondered what he should say to his mom about the events that had transpired, thinking, "What should I tell my mom? Ehe..." The mixture of emotions and the need to explain the situation weighed on his mind as he made his way home.

As Jin Hwa returned home and prepared to get some rest, the system unexpectedly opened and presented him with a sub-quest. This peculiar sub-quest demanded that he consume five times the amount he typically ate in a day. Jin Hwa's initial reaction was a mix of astonishment and disbelief. He muttered to himself, "What in the world is this kind of quest?!"

As he reviewed the details of the sub-quest, he noticed that it was the same every time: to consume significantly more food than usual. The catch was the time limit – just one day. Aware of the penalty for failing sub-quests, which was often quite severe, he decided to tackle this particular challenge the following day, given that it was already late into the night.
