========================
"Satellites are a type of vehicle or device that can move using gravitational force," said Setsuna.
"Gravitational? What is that?" asked the elders.
"Gravitational force is gravity," replied Setsuna.
"What is gravity?" The elders were still confused.
Setsuna suddenly remembered that this was Japan, and there was no Isaac Newton to teach people about gravity. The bad news was that the people of this era could sometimes defy scientific logic. They were similar to wizards from Harry Potter, so he needed to teach them basic science.
He spent about 15 minutes explaining gravity and orbit. After a tough session, the elders finally understood.
"Oh, so does this mean this device can transmit voices from here to Konoha?" asked one of the elders.
"In theory, yes," Setsuna replied, though he didn't mention the satellite's other functions like telescopes, taking pictures from space, GPS, and more.
"What are we waiting for? Let's launch it," said the elders.
Six months passed...
After the successful launch of the satellite, merchants flocked to Uzushiogakure. Setsuna had become the richest person in the world, rivaling even the Daimyo. His wealth came from his unique inventions, such as radios, TVs, rubber, and many other electronic products.
Like any other wealthy person, he contributed to the well-being of the villagers. The first thing he did was upgrade their lifestyle. He started by building and widening roads with tar, and then constructed a portal from Uzushiogakure Island to the port, reducing the need for ships. This exponentially boosted the economy in Uzushiogakure, attracting merchants and civilians who couldn't use chakra to come to the village.
The downside of the portal was that it required a lot of chakra, but fortunately, the Uzumaki were blessed with abundant chakra.
While the portal was a great success, its introduction of fuinjutsu had consequences. Many people, including allies and enemies, saw its potential. Even some Uzumaki members tried to force Setsuna to teach them how it worked. They attempted to decode the seal but failed because Setsuna had used a different language along with Arabic numerals.
Since the portal was crucial to the safety of Uzushiogakure, Setsuna refused to teach anyone about it. Fortunately, the coercion from the Uzumaki clan was stopped by the Uzukage, his father-in-law, who knew Setsuna well. He understood that if Setsuna didn't want to share the knowledge, it meant the portal was dangerous. Setsuna had already shared the Rasengan technique, so it was clear that he wasn't withholding the portal's secrets for personal gain, but for the benefit of others.
Moreover, he was also expecting another grandchild from Akari. She had been pregnant for eight months, and it was almost time for the baby to be born.
Good News...
For the past few weeks, Nezuko had been vomiting, and her appetite had increased. Since her parents had passed away, no one had ever explained to her the symptoms of pregnancy.
Even worse, Madara and Izuna didn't know anything about female anatomy, so it was only by accident that they discovered Nezuko was pregnant during Mito and Hashirama's visit.
"Congratulations, she's pregnant, and you're going to be a father," said Mito to Izuna.
Izuna and Madara froze, while Nezuko smiled widely.
"Pregnant? I'm going to be a dad!" Izuna's tears welled up as he cried with happiness. He moved to hug his wife but was stopped by Mito.
"Hey, you can't hug her," said Mito.
"Why?" asked Izuna, feeling a bit angry at Mito's warning.
"You're a ninja, and your emotional distress could cause her to miscarry, potentially endangering your baby," warned Mito.
"What? Really?" asked Izuna, dumbfounded. Madara, who overheard, silently felt grateful to Mito.
"Yeah, it's true," Hashirama added. "I remember when I had my first child, my mother luckily stopped me before I did something reckless."
"For a shinobi, it might be fine, but your wife Nezuko is a civilian and doesn't know anything about chakra. So, it's better to be safe than to lose the baby," said Mito.
"Thank you, Mito. So, what should I do?" asked Izuna.
"For the first three months, if possible, don't consummate the marriage. It's easy to miscarry during this time. Help your wife around the kitchen; she might trip, and that could also lead to a miscarriage," Mito explained, giving Izuna detailed precautions for about ten minutes, while Izuna tried to remember everything.
Somewhere shady...
Black Zetsu's plan had failed. He intended to lure Madara out of Konoha and reignite the blood feud, but Izuna had changed Madara's mind and actions. Now, Black Zetsu needed something to make Madara hate Konoha, to despise Hashirama, so he began plotting once again.
Black Zetsu was very loyal and filial; for his mother, he would never give up. It was impossible to stop him at this point.
Determined, he tried to gather intelligence and use the Daimyo as a scapegoat, ensuring that Madara would truly come to hate Konoha.
