"Brother, something's happening to me," exclaimed Izuna to Madara.
"What?" Madara was surprised, looking at the pale Izuna.
"My heart keeps getting anxious, worried for no reason!" replied Izuna.
"Ugh," Madara was confused, then he shouted, "Who attacked you?"
"No one attacked me, brother, but suddenly my heart started beating crazily for no reason," explained Izuna.
"Oh, how did that happen?" asked Madara.
"I... I don't know," said Izuna. "When I looked at Nezuko, suddenly..."
"Nezuko? Who's that?"
"She's my friend," Izuna admitted.
"So what did that friend do to you to make you so anxious?" asked Madara.
"She didn't do anything to me," replied Izuna.
"She? Since when did you become friends with a woman?"
"Someone bullied her, and because I was nearby, I lent a hand to protect her," said Izuna.
"So, why is your heart suddenly beating crazily? Did she poison you?" concluded Madara.
"No, brother. Do you think I'm stupid and can't tell the difference between poison and normal tea?" said Izuna. "Besides, she's just a civilian and doesn't know how to use chakra."
Madara is a genius in battle but a fool in human relationships. He believes women would slow down his sword-drawing speed, so he never found it enjoyable to get married or have a girlfriend.
His obsession is to win against Hashirama and achieve world peace, but of course, he loves his brother the most. Unlike Itachi, who loves Sasuke and his girlfriend, Madara didn't have that kind of intention. That's why he didn't understand the blossoming feeling when someone falls in love because he never learned about it.
"It's quite weird. Should we meet Hashirama? He knows a lot about healing jutsu," suggested Madara.
"Ok, let's go meet him," replied Izuna, who became more sweaty and anxious. Madara, seeing his brother's condition, became more worried and sped up his pace to meet Hashirama.
Meeting Hashirama...
Hashirama was not in his office because he was on a date with Mito at a restaurant.
"Hashirama, you need to help my brother," Madara half-begged upon seeing him eating with Mito.
"What happened to your brother?" Hashirama was shocked.
It was indeed shocking news because from the first time he met Madara until now, this was the first time Madara asked for help from him. Usually, they fought, and even after they built the village, Madara never asked for help.
"Look at my brother," Madara pointed to Izuna. "He is anxious, his heart keeps beating crazily, and you can see beads of sweat on his forehead. I tried everything, even healing jutsu, but nothing could cure him."
"What did the elders in the Uchiha clan say about Izuna?" Hashirama asked, placing his hand on Izuna's body to try to diagnose the problem.
Madara was stunned because, after he failed to diagnose Izuna's sickness, his first thought was to find Hashirama, who was better in medical jutsu.
"My healing jutsu is better than theirs, but I couldn't find any disease in his body," Madara explained.
Sweat started to form on Hashirama's forehead. "Madara, his body is in healthy condition."
"Does this mean you cannot cure him?" asked Madara.
"Yeah, I've tried everything, but I can't find what's wrong with him," replied Hashirama.
"Useless," Madara slammed the table and then looked back at his brother.
"Maybe I can help," Mito suddenly offered.
"How? Even Hashirama can't cure him. What can a woman like you do?" Madara doubted Mito's ability.
"Woman? Okay, never mind, I won't bother with you," Mito was angry with Madara.
But the situation didn't cool down, and Izuna was still anxious, clutching his chest.
"I take it back, please cure my brother," Madara suddenly begged Mito.
At first, she was really angry, but after seeing Izuna's condition, she became quite worried.
"Did something happen to him before he became like this?" asked Mito while channeling her chakra into Izuna's body.
"Something did happen," Madara recalled his conversation with Izuna.
Hearing this, both Mito and Hashirama were dumbfounded.
"Nezuko," Mito said to Izuna.
Suddenly, Izuna went crazy. "Arghh, it hurts!"
"I will propose to Nezuko, so she and Tobirama could get married," Mito wanted to confirm it by provoking him.
"Not to him, I will kill him!" Izuna suddenly became very angry.
After about five seconds, Mito and Hashirama burst out laughing.
"Husband, did you also notice it?" asked Mito.
"Yeah," replied Hashirama.
"What happened to my brother? Did that woman poison him?" Madara suspected Nezuko.
Grinning, Mito replied, "You can call it poison, but this poison has no cure because that is LOVE. Your brother has fallen in love with Nezuko."
"Love?" Madara was really surprised. He had heard about love many times but was never interested in falling in love.
"Yeah, I tried to provoke him by saying Nezuko would marry Tobirama, and look at his reaction," explained Mito.
"Is that really love? What I experienced just now is love?" asked Izuna, who suddenly felt better.
"Yeah, it is love," Hashirama replied.
"Love is when you want to make someone happy, when you want to grow old together, when you want to make sure she is safe all the time. Didn't you feel happy remembering Nezuko and feel anxious when you heard she would get married?"
