I curled around the city council building as Levi had instructed, deep in shock, and packed by the back exit of the building.
Levi Isla had once again proved that he was loyal to me. I found myself deep in regret as I kept pushing him away over the years. The fact that he was my true mate made me happy. There was no way Sable, my wolf, would have mated with him if he weren't. I had my doubts until when he collapsed.
In my arms, Sable had growled the words "Mate"
"He is wonderful" I heard Sable push the words through my mind link.
"He is trouble," I remarked.
"We need him. We must protect him at all costs. "Sable insisted.
I huffed and noticed Levi rushing towards the car in a hurry. I switched on the car as Levi jumped in and yelled, "Let's go! "There were two men following him as we sped off from the city hall offices.
"Who are those men chasing after you?" I demanded.
