The buzzing in the pub was vibrant as it filled the place with pack members who were making merry. Lucian, Conri, Levi, Everest, Luna, Tala, Anisha, and Zeeb were seated on the corner table, which was filled with drinks and plates of chicken ribs.
"I will join you shortly, " I piped as I rushed back to the kitchen to check on everything.
"Take your time," Everest boomed and laughed at how awkward I was behaving. After I came back and sat down next to Luna, Conri was the first to speak.
"I can't believe you are mated, " Conri smiled, and Zeeb growled in anger.
"You better tone down." Tala smacked Zeeb's hand. "Ma is finally happy while you are being grouchy"
"I told him the same. He needs to be cordial with Benjamin. He is not a stranger to us and he is lucky enough that Luna accepted him. "Anisha seethed at Zeeb.
