LUCIAN'S POV
SIX MONTHS LATER
We had stayed in Sitka for one extra for the Hnoss and Mother Sea's ceremony before we boarded the jet and went back to Chugach. We flew back to Chugach with the Aria's and Commander Abram's battalion team and Aspen.
I had missed the babies, plus Luka, and spent hours cuddling with them in the baby room as Conri and Lenora watched.
It was exactly six months after we left Sitka that the housekeepers told me that Commander Abram had come to see me one later evening. I took a shower after feeding the babies and then went downstairs and found Commander Abram waiting for me.
"Have you been waiting for long?" I asked as I approached him.
"No. I was admiring the resort and it kept me busy "He responded as we walked to the garden patio that was built on the second floor of the resort. The place had a wonderful view, and it was the right place to have the conversation.
