A week after learning that we were mates with Toten, he called me in the wee hours of the night and gave me intel about our little Tharn.
" I caught him today. The little brat was talking on the phone with Zineb Aria" Toten cursed.
" You are shitting me" I cursed. " If Conri and Lucian find out, we are dead meat. "
" But why would he do that unless someone threatened him? " Toten demanded. " I heard him say that he was going to the pearl farm."
" Time to set a trap for him and find out what exactly is going on" I stated.
