Two days later we buried Pa. I stood at the sea as we threw his ashes by the pier. All the pack members were present at the funeral, but the displeased look on Lobo Aria's face was evident.
Once the funeral was done, we all went to Benjamin's pub for a meal. Surprisingly, Lobo Aria, Hunter, Keith, Jaxton, and Boris followed us to the pub. I felt sorry for Hunter and could tell it took all the will for him to pretend around Lobo Aria.
I heard the knuckles of Anisha's hand as she closed them into a fist and the low growl that came from Zeeb. Everest placed an arm on my thigh and the only calm ones were Conri, Lucian, and Elder Zaya. Even Luna's eyes blazed at Lobo, but he pretended not to notice. We all watched as Tala stood up and walked over to Lobo Aria's table and said, "Alpha, since when do you have dealings with the Japanese ?"
