Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

I secretly entered through the back gate of this abandoned building.

Walking slowly and carefully, I observed car-napped vehicles, old tires, broken glass, and bullets on the ground.

Just wait; I'll catch you eventually.

I smirked. In this mission, I don't know who I'm dealing with. There's limited information about the well-known serial killer and thief. I don't know if it's a large group or just one person. But whatever or whoever they are, I'm sure I'll complete this mission easily.

I walk carefully inside the old three-story building. The color is faded, but it still looks sturdy.

What I saw outside is mirrored on the first floor—damaged tires, broken bottles, and bullets on the floor. There were also electric generators and gasoline.

As I reach the second floor, I hear a voice coming from a TV. The second floor looks cleaner, resembling an apartment. I follow the noise.

It's a room illuminated from the gap in the door. I can see movement.

Looks like they let their guard down.

I open the door slightly, thankfully it's not making noise. There she is—a girl sitting on an old couch with her back turned towards me. She doesn't notice me because the couch is facing away. She's focused on the TV in front of her.

I slowly walk to her back and then point my gun at the back of her head. She stops, but I don't see any fear. She doesn't even tense up when she feels the gun on her head.

She stands up slowly, my gun still pointed at her. She turns around to face me, and I stand there holding my gun on her forehead with an amused smirk and a cold gaze in my eyes.

"You really get on my nerves, you know?" I said, raising one eyebrow, as if in consideration.

She smirks. And what the heck, I start to feel something inside me just looking at her face.

Don't lose your composure, Onyx!

I stand there in silence, waiting for her response while keeping my composure.

"Really, huh? Getting on your nerves?" A quiet chuckle escapes from her pink, soft, tempting lips.

Wait! Why am I describing her lips? Oh, yeah, right, Onyx.

"Ingat ka... baka sa susunod nyan, You're really getting into my heart na ang sasabihin mo." She continues.

I scoff and look at her up and down.

She has a nice body curv—the hell!

"Aww, fantasizing about my body?" She asks and makes a pose like a model, not minding the gun on her forehead.

"Shut up! You're under arrest," I said, glaring at her. Suddenly, I looked into her eyes.

Why is it like I get hypnotized?

Her ash-grey eyes were so mesmerizing, due to distraction, I didn't notice that I lowered my gun.

"I know I'm that beautiful; no need to—hey!" Before she finishes her words, I cut her off, pushing her back against the couch and cornering her using both my arms.

I don't know how I ended up in front of the couch, especially when the back is facing me, but all I know is I want to look into her eyes.

Her eyes are so mesmerizing, hypnotizing.

It's like I get drugged and got obsessed with her eyes. What is happening to you, Onyx?!

I can't even think straight as I feel my own hands stroking the curves of her neck while not breaking the eye contact.

I can see her smirk while my face was inches away from hers.

"Your eyes..." I said, can't even find words to finish my sentence.

"Why? Getting attractive..?" She replied with a flirty, seductive tone.

Yes, I am.

My heart beats fast, and I feel something in my stomach. I feel a heat inside my body because of our position plus her enticing eyes.

"I like your eyes... so much." Those words came out of my mouth, and she smirked in reply, not breaking our eye contact. Then I feel her soft hands caressing, tracing my neck.

A heat inside my body rose up.

And then something built up inside my mind... I'm willing to do anything for her.

"Tell me your name," I demand. I know my voice sounds lustful and seductive. I can't stop it, and I don't intend to.

A quiet chuckle escapes from her lips. "Would I?" She said, biting her lower lip.

I want to bite her lip too.

"Yes... what's your name?"

"It's a secret... no one will know; you'll never know." She grins. I grab her wrist, caressing it.

She's so mysterious.

"You're so enchanting... My lovely enchant." Yes... I made a name for her.

"I'll do anything for you..." Those words suddenly come out of my mouth out of nowhere, but I don't regret saying that.

I saw a smirk in her again.

"Oh, really? Anything..?"

"Yes... Anything... Everything... just say it, and I'll do it." I said as I lean closer to her, a slight movement, and our lips would surely meet. I feel like I want to do anything... everything at all costs just for her, willing to kneel down just to love her.

"Oh, anything?... what if I tell you to rob a bank just for me... would you do that?" She asks.

If robbing a bank can make her happy, I'll do it even if it's against the law and the world.

"Would I?" I smirk. "...Yes, I would... anything just for you, my enchant." I continue and lean on her, but before my lips even reach hers, she puts her pointing finger on my lips.

"Very funny... but remember who you are and who I am." She said and starts stroking my lips, tracing it using her pointing finger.

It's so tempting... the heat and lust inside me grow and growing more.

I'm a Hero; she's a Villain.

"Or just... you're taking drugs, are you?" She chuckles, keeps stroking my lips, and I let her do that.

"You're my drugs, baby... and I'm getting so addicted." I smirk and raise my hand to stroke her hair. "I don't know why, but I'm so in love with you... even though we just met today, my enchant."

"And that love makes you crazy." She said, grinning.

"Am I? Well, I don't care... I'll do anything kahit pa labag ito sa batas, basta para sayo." I said.

Hmm pano kung lahat ng hilingin ko hindi mo Gawin?" She asks smirking.

"Try me." I responded.

"Then nakawain mo ang Crown of Trisor and give it to me before tomorrow sun sets.. if you done that I'll give you a reward." She said. Hmm it sounds great but.. stealing? I'd never steal.

"Oh, why silent?" She smirks. "Are you afraid because if you steal, you'll never be a Hero anymore?" She smirks teasingly.

I look at her again and brush out some of her hair strands that cover her enchanting eyes.

"I'm not afraid," I replied in a matter-of-fact tone. "As I said, I'll do anything and everything... and I don't care that this may tarnish my reputation."

".. And everything I say, I'll do it... Mark my words, I promise, I'll get that crown and give it to you tomorrow," I said. She smirks.

"Fine then... give the crown to me tomorrow before the sun sets, and I'll give you a reward that I'm sure you'll like. But if you still didn't give me the crown and the sun sets come... no more rewards, Deal?" She said. I wonder what the reward is, but whatever it is, as long as my enchant commands it, I'll do it.

"Deal," I said, smirking as well, and kiss her neck.

"I'm so in love with you... and you're my drug, baby... and I'm so obsessed, addicted to you." I continue.

I stood up and walked through the door, looking at her for the last time before closing the door behind my back.

~•~•~•~•~ THIRD-PERSON POV ~•~•~•~•~

She leans on the couch after the Hero walks away. She can't believe that she followed him into this. She holds the remote control on the TV and switches to live news on a broadcasting network.

She smirks and crosses her arms.

After a few hours, a sudden live breaking news on the TV. A raid on a museum. You can see many police and military outside The CHT Museum; it looks like they're waiting for someone or something.

And then a new CCTV footage inside the Crown's collection of the museum; there was a tall, masculine man walking casually through the Crown of Feige. Her smirk gets wider.

Even though he is wearing a mask on his face, she can still see his dark brown eyes.

The Hero walks to the glass box of the Crown; he also knows about what's happening outside the museum.

He punches the glass box; he's too strong to break the glass. He's a Hero, remember.

The glass debris falls to the ground, and the museum alarms ring, but he just pulls out his gun and shoots the bell and alarm monitor to stop this noise. He hates noise.

He knows that he shouldn't do this, but you can't blame him. That villain was so mesmerizing. Like a goodness that will hypnotize you to obey her commands.

He thinks that maybe he's crazy for doing this. This is really against the law and the world and even against his own principles. But he's so in love with her.

You can't stop love, right? Even though they just met today.

He finally got the crown.

He places it in his bag, but then...

"Hands up!" A voice from his back.

He turns around and sees a group of police pointing their guns at him, but he's a Hero, and he fears no one.

Back to her, who's sitting comfortably on the couch while watching his live fight against the police, smirking.

"Be fast, Hero... the time is running," she said while looking at the clock and back at the TV, smirking.

He sits on one of the corpses of police while panting heavily; he just finished beating up those police. He can't believe that the police he once helped are now lying lifeless on the floor.

After resting a few minutes, he stood and prepared to leave; he can feel more police approaching.

She looks at the clock.

"Looks like someone will not succeed in his mission..." she said.

She stretches her arms and looks at the door where the Hero exited.

"5...4...3...2...1...0" she looks at the door, but then... nothing happens. She looks at the clock again and then laughs.

The Hero/His POV

I catch my breath.

My ascent up the stairs is slow due to fatigue... Until now, I still can't believe that I did that.

But I did it.

But then in the middle of walking, I see that it's getting dark outside—ohh f'ck!

I ran as fast as I could until I reach the second floor of this building. I quickly open the door and see her leaning at the back on the couch, smirking.

I breathe in and breathe out before I fix myself and walk to her, giving the crown to her.

"I did it," I said.

She smiles and shakes her head.

"No, you're not."

"W-what..."

She takes the crown and smirks, putting it on her head.

"You're one minute late..."
