Celestiel couldn't stop shaking, no matter how hard she tried. She felt cold on her insides, as though her blood had begun freezing in her veins. The King immediately noticed this.
Turning to her, Sebastian placed his hand on the side of her face, bringing her eyes to his own. "What did you see, princess?"
A wave of calm washed over Celestiel with Sebastian's touch. She felt her body relax a little and she opened her mouth to answer him.
"I...," she paused, her tongue peeking out between her lips to wet her dry lips nervously. "I saw a dark, ominous smoke surrounding him at first. And then...and then I saw creatures."
Sebastian's eyes narrowed. "What kind of creatures?"
"I couldn't describe them," Celestiel answered, tensely, shaking her head slowly. "Tall, lean, charred skin, sharp nails, hollow eyes, a wide, toothy grin. They looked like..."
