"Something's not right, Aarab. We need to check the CCTV footage,"
Liana said, urgency lacing her voice.
"Right," Rion agreed, already tapping away at his phone. "
Let's see what we can find."
As they hurried to the control room, Enma followed closely, confusion etched on her face.
"How is this possible? Why didn't the cameras capture anything?"
Rion's fingers paused mid-air.
"Wait, I think I found something."
They crowded around the screen, eyes wide. The grainy footage revealed Nuba dancing with a mysterious man, her laughter echoing in the silence. Aarab's fists clenched, fury boiling beneath the surface.
"Dammit! Dammit!"
"Man, calm down," Rion urged, but Aarab shook his head.
"How could I?" he shot back, his voice thick with emotion.
"My lord, the strange thing is we all slept at that time,"
Rem added, a suspicious glint in his eyes.
Silence enveloped them, thick with realization.
After lunch, the prize-giving ceremony began, and Nuba was declared Student of the Year. Cheers erupted, but a dark cloud loomed over the trio…Zuark, Rica, and Medha watched with narrowed eyes, plotting their next move.
In the evening, Nuba brings Meera to the annual prize giving ceremony party. It is specially arranged for the winner so that they can celebrate their happiness.
Aarab looks upset. They tried to find the man. They thought he might be a student at their college. They found nothing.
Liana, Rion and Enma tried to cheer him up.
"Aarab, You are student council president, You should congratulate Miss Nuba. And don't forget to apologize to her as your bet. Okay"
Rion asked him to behave himself.
After that he came to Nuba. He introduced himself officially to Nuba. He compliments Nuba and congratulates her for her victory. And he also apologizes to her. Rica was upset to see that.
"Hello, Miss Nuba, I'm Aarab Ernestt. I'm the student council president in this college. "
"Oh, Nice To meet you sir." Nuba replied with a beautiful smile.
"Miss Nuba you are a beautiful and also a brave girl. And you're capable of everything. I'm pleased with you. Congratulations for your gorgeous success. I'm sure you will be queen of this college."
Aarab gives her as much compliment as he can. He was also a little nervous inside.
"Ahh, please Don't do that. I'm not that capable. But thank you so much."
Nuba was shy. She shakes her head and forbids him to say that.
Meera was standing next to Nuba. She felt uneasy. Aarab always wanted to talk to Nuba but he never did that with her. He even never looked at her. She felt upset.
"Ugh, one more thing, I'm extremely sorry for my rude behavior. Please forgive me" He politely asked for forgiveness.
"Mr Aarab , sorry sir Aarab. Please say sorry to her. I would be happy if you did that. Because you hurt her, not me." Nuba pointed to Meera and asked him to say sorry to her.
"Nuba, there's no need for this. I'm okay now. It was my fault. I'm sorry Sir."
By saying that Meera started to run.
Aarab and Nuba was shocked. Nuba also started to run behind her.
After a moment Nuba lost Meera. Nuba wandered through the college garden, the sniff of her friends fading into the background. Her eyes caught a thin trail of smoke curling into the air. Curiosity piqued, she followed it, her heart thudding in her chest. The vibrant colors of the flowers blurred into greens and browns as she entered the forest behind the college.
"Who are you?"
Nuba called out, her voice trembling as she spotted a figure in the distance. As she drew closer, recognition struck her. It was the man she had danced with earlier that day.
"You, what's your name?" he asked, his voice smooth like silk.
She took a step back, unease creeping in. The man stepped forward, his gaze intense. He raised a finger to her lips.
"Sigh! Princess," he whispered, then leaned in and kissed her abruptly.
Nuba's eyes widened. "What are you doing? I never kiss a boy! You scumbag!"
Her cheeks burned with embarrassment.
He chuckled softly, an enigmatic smile on his lips.
"Do you want to find me, princess?"
And just like that, in the blink of an eye, he vanished, leaving Nuba breathless and bewildered.
The night sky hung heavy with stars as Nuba paced her small living room, worrying gnawing at her. She dialed Meera's elder sister, her heart racing.
"Hello?" came the familiar voice.
"Is Meera home?" Nuba asked, her voice taut with anxiety.
"Yes, she was safe and sound. Why?"
A sigh of relief escaped Nuba.
"I was worried because she left the party without me. I thought she felt sick. Thank you!"
Nuba returned home, her heart lighter, and as she stepped inside, her younger brother Noor came barreling toward her.
"Sister! Did you get first place?"
he asked, eyes wide with excitement.
"Yes, I did!"
Nuba replied, a smile breaking across her face as she ruffled his hair.
"Sis, where's my chocolate?"
His lips curled into a pout.
Nuba chuckled, reaching into her bag and pulling out the chocolate bar.
"Here you go, but only if you promise to share!"
Noor's face lit up.
"I promise!"
Later, she showed her trophy, crest, and medal to her family, their faces glowing with pride. They gathered for dinner, laughter punctuating the evening.
Afterward, Nuba retreated to her room, collapsing onto her bed.
"Ahh! What a tiring day! I need rest."
But as she closed her eyes, the image of the mysterious man lingered, haunting her thoughts.
In the morning, Nuba jolted awake, the man's voice echoing in her mind.
"Do you want to find me, princess?"
She rubbed her eyes, the dream fading like mist.
"Huff! Huff!" She sighed, flopping back onto her pillow.
"So it was a dream."
Sunlight streamed through her window, illuminating her cluttered room. Today was her college off day.
"I need to convince Father about this,"
she mumbled, throwing off her blanket.
As she padded downstairs, her mother's voice boomed from the kitchen.
"Nuba! Breakfast is ready!"
Her father was sitting on the dining table.
"Dad, can we talk about something?"
she called, her heart racing.
He looked up, eyebrows raised. "What is it?"
"I want to go on vacation. Just for a few days,"
she said, trying to sound casual.
