The Dwarf Elf appeared in the daytime at the risk of being seen, it seems that there is something important.
Shaun hurried over and leaned against the flowerbed, his eyes looking away and a voice coming out of his mouth:``What's wrong?"
Toren grunted under his breath, "Dieser schreckliche Mensch taucht wieder auf!"
Although Toren spoke in Cologne dialect again in his haste, Shaun still understood:That horrible man has appeared again!
"When? Where?" Shaun asked hurriedly.
"An hour ago, at a gold shop owned by an outsider on Eigelsteinstrasse." Torren finished with an exasperated grunt and disappeared in stealth.
"A gold shop owned by an out-of-towner on Eigelstein Street an hour ago! Damn!" Shaun translated Torren's words to himself and knew something was wrong. It was shortly after he had left the gold shop an hour ago. "Was followed earlier!" Shaun immediately thought.
"Get out of here, the killer has reappeared!" Shaun said to Lola and spread his legs and ran.
The two of them hadn't been far away, and they reached the gold shop in half a minute at a sprint.
The door to the gold shop was unlocked from the inside and Shaun kicked it open, there was no one behind the counter outside, but Shaun and Lola could already smell the strong smell of blood.
The two made their way through the narrow aisles to the large room in the back. There were limbs and broken arms scattered on the floor of the room, and Shaun took a rough look at them, and they belonged to the two lads who had just escorted the Albanian in, the middle-aged man behind the counter of the gold shop, and the Albanian.
In addition to the heavy smell of blood, there was also a disturbing scent lingering in the air.
"That man just left." Lola felt the scent as well.
Shaun nodded and rushed to the only person left alive in the room. Lola, on the other hand, immediately called the emergency services.
Izzy was sitting on the couch where he'd been smoking a hookah earlier, his ears, nose and eyes had been chipped and gouged out separately, his limbs had been broken, and he was gasping for air sharply, but his breath was already weak.
"Izzy, can you hear me?" Shaun said in Izzy's ear.
"That devil ... Asked me ... What did it say to you .... Allahu Akbar ... I told him ... gave you that clue." Izzy broke off.
"Who told you this clue you gave me?" Shaun asked.
"Wallraf-Richartz ... Curator Hoffman ... He's ... my friend ..." Izzy gasped.
"Did you tell that information to the demon earlier?" Shaun asked with a frown.
"Not yet ... You guys are here ... He ran away." Izzy gasped.
Shaun breathed a sigh of relief as the distant sound of an ambulance siren was faintly heard in his ears.
"Shaun ..... Don't let ... Drugs ... Flood ... "Izzy suddenly grabbed Shaun's arm, his eyes, which were only two blood holes, staring intently at Shaun.
Shaun held Izzy's hand: "I'll clean up the Grey Wolves gang."
Izzy no longer reacted. He was already dead.
Shaun stood up silently and walked out of the gold shop. Lola followed him, calling Father Schwartz as he walked: "Father Schwartz, Father Giovanni's killer has reappeared, killing five people at the following location ... The scene is quite special, please greet the police."
After making the call, Lola followed Shaun to the McDonald's not far inside the train station, Shaun stood in line to buy two ice creams, his hand trembled as he handed one to Lola and then found a seat to sit down and eat.
Lola took the ice cream, shook her head, and sat down across from Shaun, asking:``First time you've seen a scene like this?"
Shaun hmmmed: "I get bloodsick."
Laura froze for a moment and couldn't help but laugh out loud:``Then you might get dizzy later. When I was a level one agent, I took on a level two assignment to investigate a demonic curse that happened in Portugal. A woman and her family were in a car accident, her husband and two children died instantly, only the woman survived. The woman was so grief-stricken that she committed suicide repeatedly, but couldn't kill herself."
"When I met her, she had just made another attempt, jumping from a 30-storey building. She was splayed out on the concrete floor, reduced to a puddle of blood, her ribs bursting open, her belly and intestines flung over ten metres away, and her skull and half of her head were gone."
"But surprisingly she's not dead yet and is struggling to get up and try to jump again."
Speaking of which Lola was silent for a moment and said, "You've only taken on level one missions before, easy and simple and fun, so you don't yet know what we agents have to face. In order to keep the darkness away from people, we first have to stand up to the deepest part of the darkness. That's why we have to keep getting stronger."
Shaun listened in silence for a moment and said, "Before I went to bed last night, I was thinking that this job is pretty damn cool. I even thought I was cool enough to break a guy's ten fingers this morning. In hindsight, I'm far from realising the corresponding responsibilities of this job. Fuck, died once for nothing."
Shaun was silent again for a moment and said, "If I had been alert enough, I would have watched for anyone following me when I went to find Izzy. The fact that the church has my whereabouts means that the mutineer does too."
Lola said, "Let's not talk about useless things. The good news is that since the killer has reappeared, it means he didn't get the short sword. What did your informant tell you before he died?"
Shaun told Lola, then took out his phone and wrote a text message to Lola: Obenmarspforten 40, Wallraf-Richartz Museum, Curator Hoffman.
"Let's split up, you go to this address and find this guy and secure him first. I'll go and take out that drug ring and meet you there." Shaun said.
Lola thought about it and said, "How about this, it seems like you're more familiar with Cologne, you go to that address and protect that person, I'll go and end the drug trafficking one. But one thing, you have those dwarf friends of yours follow behind you to see if anyone is following you."
Shaun thought about it and said, "That's good, that drug dealer boss might not be that simple, I might have to go through some trouble to go there, and it's not good to delay the main event."
Lola let out a "hmmm", seemingly agreeing with the statement that it wouldn't take any trouble at all for her to go and clean up the drug dealers by herself.
"Besides the original secret stone, what other two secret stones have you found? Did the abilities stack?" Shaun asked curiously.
Lola took a bite of the ice cream that was about to melt, then casually threw it into the tray and said with an expressionless face, "I was lucky and found the Secret Stone of Earth followed by the Secret Stone of Water. The abilities stacked and advanced to the new ability 'Plant Scientist'."
"'Plant scientist'? Sounds like it doesn't have much offensive power." Shaun said sardonically.
"Attack power? Wait for the news. Give me the address of the drug dealer." Lola said coldly.
Shaun sent the address he asked from the Albanians to Lola while asking, "Any tips on finding the secret stone? Why is it that I've been an agent for five years and don't have a single clue about the secret stone."
Lola stood up: "Firstly, take more high-level mission commissions, secret stones have the characteristic of being attracted by spirituality, this is the only more reliable secret stone characteristic that has been mapped out so far. High level missions tend to have more people or objects that spirituality gathers, which of course means a high level of danger."
"Secondly, look for help at the Agents' Mutual Aid Society." After saying the second point, Lola couldn't help the corner of her mouth twitching with a smile.
"Agent Mutual Aid Society? What the hell is this?" Shaun felt an explosion of information since meeting Lola.
"I'll tell you more about it later after we rendezvous at that museum." Lola said and turned around and walked out of McDonald's.
The ice cream in Shaun's hand had melted as well, and he couldn't be bothered to lick it, freezing as he thought about what Lola had just said before getting up and walking out of the McDonald's after a while.
Not far away, Eigelstein Street had been blocked off by several police cars, and sirens were coming this way in the distance. Shaun took a breath and turned to walk into the train station.
Passing through the train terminus, he was able to see the Cologne Cathedral on his left. In the past, every time he passed by the cathedral, Shaun had to stop and admire the perfect gothic structure of the cathedral. Today, Shaun was not in the mood for that, he directly bypassed the cathedral, walked through the Roncalli Square on the side of the cathedral, and came to the Heinzelmännchen Fountain on the side of the square and stopped for a while to make some hidden marks. The theme of this fountain was the story of the dwarf elf and the tailor's wife.
Then Shaun went into the Früh beer hall across the street from the fountain ordered a Cologne beer and sat down to drink it. It was only at this time that Shaun felt a strong sense of hunger and remembered that he hadn't eaten anything until now except for breakfast.
But Shaun was afraid that eating would delay too much time, so he could only endure his hunger and finished his beer and walked into the pub's toilet. The toilets in old pubs were usually on the quieter ground floor, and it just so happened that there was no one in the toilets, so Shaun found a squat, went in and closed the door.
Torren appeared at his feet and this time grunted in real exasperation and said, "Shaun, Why are you meeting me here?!"
Shaun said: "Sorry sorry sorry, Toren, a moment you stealthily follow behind me, if you find someone following me, you remind me, at least remember his appearance."
Toren grunts under his breath and says, "Well, for Parma ham's sake, you foreignerr!" He said and disappeared invisibly.
Shaun exited the toilets, returned to the table to settle his bill and left the pub.
It was only a five minute walk from the tavern to the Wallraf-Richartz Museum. This museum was one of the three largest and most important museums in Cologne, and last year when Shaun was working in Cologne, he was just in time for this museum to hold an exhibition of paintings on the theme of Tintoretto, and because of his love for the Venetian school of painting, Shaun spent a beautiful day looking at them.
Father Schwartz also later told Shaun that in 2008 the Wallraf-Richartz Museum also declared a pair of Monets in the museum's collection to be forgeries. The commission to authenticate this forgery was done by an agent of the spirit world. That agent was said to have taken the painting and entered Monet's junction to have it authenticated directly by Monet.
Shaun walked into the museum and went directly to the information desk. The information desk was a middle-aged German woman with a kind face, who smiled when she saw Shaun walking over and asked:Â "Hello, what can I do for you?"
Shaun smiled and said, "Hello, I would like to see Curator Hoffman, my name is Shaun, you can tell Mr Hoffman that Izzy sent me. It is an urgent matter, so please convey it accurately."

The Wallraf-Richartz-Museum in Cologne is one of the most visited museums in Cologne. It is also true that the incident of the fake Monet painting in 2008 was discovered during the restoration process.
