One Year Ago...
Nakul sat in his study, surrounded by the manuscripts of his mystery novels. The phone rang, breaking the silence. It was his editor, a sharp man with an eye for market trends.
"Nakul, why not change your genre?" the editor suggested. "Your first two mystery novels were hits, but the last two... they didn't quite resonate. Ever thought of writing romance? It could broaden your audience, especially among female readers."
Nakul pondered the idea. His mystery novels had indeed been a success, particularly because of their unique perspective - the antagonist's. But now, he felt drained of ideas in that genre.
"Maybe you're right," Nakul replied. "I'll think about it."
Present Day...
In the confines of Pathal-Lok, Nakul reflected on that conversation. His foray into romance writing had led him unexpectedly to Mihira. Initially, the idea of writing romance seemed foreign to him. Despite his good looks and the numerous advances he'd received, love was an emotion Nakul had never truly experienced.
His friend, a self-proclaimed playboy, had once handed him a magazine featuring the country's top models. "For inspiration," his friend had said. Flipping through the pages, Nakul was about to dismiss it as futile until he saw her - Mihira. It wasn't desire he felt but a profound sense of connection, a feeling of wanting to be there for her.
Captivated, Nakul began following Mihira's career, her grace and beauty fueling his imagination. He started a novel, a romance with a character inspired by her, changing her name to protect her identity. But then, suddenly, Mihira disappeared from the public eye. Her social media accounts were deleted, and her modeling agency remained tight-lipped, merely stating she had left after getting married.
Nakul was heartbroken. The novel, like Mihira's story, remained unfinished.
Back to the Present...
In Pathal-Lok, the realization that Mihira and the woman from the magazine were the same person hit Nakul hard. The once ethereal model he had admired from afar was now a warrior scarred by life's battles.
One evening, as Nakul and Mihira sat in the dimly lit common area of Pathal-Lok, he decided to share his past connection to her.
"Mihira, I knew of you before Pathal-Lok," Nakul began hesitantly. "You were my muse for a novel I never finished."
Mihira looked at him, surprise flickering in her eyes. "A novel?"
"Yes. Your strength, even in photographs, was palpable. But I never knew the depth of your story until now," Nakul admitted.
Mihira's expression softened. "Life has a way of unraveling in ways we least expect. I was a different person back then, living in a different world."
Nakul nodded, understanding. "Your story, what you endured... it's unjust. I joined Pathal-Lok seeking my own justice, but now, I want to help you find yours too."
Mihira looked at Nakul, a sense of camaraderie growing between them. "Pathal-Lok brought us here for a reason. Maybe together, we can right some of the wrongs inflicted upon us."
As the days passed, Nakul dove into researching the culprits behind Mihira's suffering. He used his skills as a novelist to piece together the puzzle, drawing on his knowledge of mystery and suspense. Mihira, in turn, provided insights into the events that led to her downfall.
Together, they formed a plan. It was not just about revenge; it was about exposing the corruption and bringing the truth to light. Nakul felt a renewed sense of purpose, his journey intertwining with Mihira's in their quest for justice.
The chapter closes with Nakul and Mihira poring over documents and digital trails late into the night. The path ahead was fraught with danger, but they were determined. In each other, they had found an ally, and in Pathal-Lok, a means to seek the justice that the world above had denied them.
But Both Mihira and Nakul knew justice wouldn't be served, So they had to take vengeance on them by killing them. So Both Mihira and Nakul were complete strangers or atleast before meeting in Pathal-lok. They decided to do something more daring and it was also a task by Ravan who said he will test nakul, The test is to come up with a plan that could satisfy the vengeance of Mihira.
Then Nakul without hesitation told "It's Simple, Let's do Exchange murders or kidnapping!!!!"
The entire room got silent as nakul spoke.
"Elaborate!!!", Ravan spoke with a smirk.
