Chapter 47 - Chapter 46: Zephyrus: Summoning Fenrir and Hel

"All I know was the Seven Sovereigns were the ones who ruled the seven nations before the Knights of Crusaders led by the Grandmaster entered our nation," Leland began.

"Why, of all continents, did they target the Korra?"

"According to what I heard after the invasion, this GrandMaster Kervil Isambard wanted the Royal bloodline to give back the authority of ruling, but we people here knew he was a corrupt leader. He claimed to be the servant of the Father of Creations and that it was his wish to spread humanity's ruling all over Orion, which was, I knew, lies!"

I looked at Leland, watching him as his eyes burned with hatred.

"After Kervil defeated our Leader Caelum, he began changing rules and put someone in charge and a knight to look out for. And from that day, our life changed forever. And to top that all, a barrier was cast to prevent us from leaving and letting anyone come in."

Leland didn't have to tell me what kind of hell he was saying. They became slaves.

"Do you want to beat the asses of those who made your life miserable?"

Leland looked at me and blinked.

"Are you serious?"

"Uhm, do I look like I am not? I'm going to create a riot in this nation. Would you like to join?"

"Huh? Are you out of your mind? The people leading this nation are strong; Raiden didn't even withstand them."

"Well, I am also strong. Whad'ya think? Want to stay here and rot in hell without doing something?"

Leland became quiet. He must be thinking I'm insane, but just like what I said, the wind had called me here.

"Well, considering how you pass through that barrier, maybe you were something else," Leland said.

"Okay, but the question is about the dragon carcass. I heard it'll fetch a high amount of money. But I don't have storage or an item box. I wasn't blessed with that."

"Then I might come in handy."

Leland walked towards the Dragon's carcass and touched it. Suddenly, the Dragon started to sink beneath him as if something was pulling it down.

"I have an item box. And it's spacious."

"Awesome! You are the right man for this job, Le brodah," I praised him and tapped his shoulder.

"Not to brag, but I am also a chef. I was once a royal master chef before, so uhh, maybe I could really be helped with your riot thing," he added.

"Double awesome! I don't know how to cook, but if you're around, then it will help me a lot. But I only have one word for ya."

"What?"

"Don't get killed."

"Aren't you going to protect me?"

"Depends on how delicious your food will be," I teased him.

"Heh," he smiled knowingly. "You might not want to taste any food again after you taste mine. Lord Caelum loved my cooking," he boasted.

"Fine. Let's go. Let's find something for you to wear. We can't start our journey with you wearing that kind of clothing," I said, walking back to the half-destroyed mansion.

"Wait for me, Boss!"

Leland followed me.

"Boss, I'll go and look around and see if I can find something I can use in our adventure."

"Okay, go ahead. Just don't wander around, or you'll be lost."

"Roger, boss."

As Leland left, I found myself in a library. I wandered around and stumbled to a table with an old book. My curiosity kicked in, and I pulled a chair before reading.

It turned out that the book was a list of awesome creatures that could have a potential for summoning. For example, the twins Fenrir and Hel. They both gave me a goosebump.

The Fenrir and Hel back in my world were already bad news according to Norse Mythology, and here, they also exist. Nothing is impossible in this world, I suppose.

Say, Cherubim, if I cannot use an active skill, do you know anything to help me? For example like those golems, but I need someone who could stay.

[Answer: Sympathetic Skill]

Cherubim already explained to me how those skills work. All I needed to do was build tough mannequins. Thanks to Creation skill for that.

Cherubim, can Summoning Skill summon a non-existent creature and bind it in a mannequin using sympathetic skill?

[Answer: Yes]

Alright!

I activated my Creation Skill. I imagine two mannequins made of clay, graphene, Kevlar, and mithril. I'm not really sure if those materials would work together, but I tried it anyway.

"Let's make two Marionettes of the toughest material that can withstand magic and any physical attack!"

Suddenly, two dark blue Marionettes appeared before me. I inspected it, and I think they were perfect.

Now, for the next step, I activated the Summoning skill.

A yellow circle appeared before me.

"I'm calling Fenrir and Hel; if you two can hear me, come forth and answer my call!"

At first, nothing came out from my medium, and I was about to summon someone else when suddenly a red and pink glowing ball came out from the medium. Both are the same size as a baseball ball and are now floating in the air.

I activated my Sympathetic Skills.

"Bind!"

The two glowing balls entered the two marionettes. And within a second, the mannequins' fingers twitched before the blinding lights exploded, making me blind for ten seconds.

Do you think their body will be okay?

[Answer: As long as the body can withstand its mana and magic, then it'll be fine. Do note that Creation Skill can make better items such as marionettes."

Thank you for the information, Cheru.

When the light disappeared, the marionettes were already staring at me. One was a male, and the other was a female.

My bodyguards are awake now. Both of them pulled themselves up and looked around.

"Are there any problems with your bodies?" I asked them.

They looked at each other, puzzled, and then looked at me.

"Who are you? And what a sore eye like you doing in here?" The man, who's probably Fenrir, questioned me.

"My name is Troy, but you can call me Boss for short," I said.

Suddenly, I felt a menacing aura coming from Fenrir. Talk about hard-headedness or something. Is this the same Fenrir who killed Odin, according to Norse mythology?

"What did you say? We call you Boss?" he asked in an unbelievable tone.

"Yes, that's what I told you, right?" I replied.

"How dare you!?" he screamed. "You are nothing but a speck of dirt in our eyes, and you dare us to call you a master? You're an idiot! I'll kill you myself!"

Fenrir, in his human body, took me by the neck, but suddenly, a bolt of electric shock electrified his body.

"Ahhhh!"

Fenrir was like a toasted human sprawled on the ground after being electrified. I can even see visible smoke from his mouth.

I looked at him and smirked.

"Looked like the body I gave you withstand the electrification, huh?" I told him and squatted before him. "May I remind you, I am the one who summoned you and gave you a better body to become my bodyguard. I can't use active skills here, so I had no choice but to summon those I thought were the strongest creatures. Now, if you disrespect me, I'll be happy sending you back to the hell hole you've been in and letting your soul rot."

"Y-you!" His eyes widened when he finally had a clear vision of me.

"Yes, me," I said, crossing my arms. "I am the one who gave you a chance to live again. At least give me credit. You would still be floating up in that wherever you've been," I told him.

"Well, I don't hate this," Hel said.

"What?" Fenrir looked at her.

"I actually love this body already."

"Fool! Are you blind!? He's a Summon! Did you forget his kind murdered us?" Fenrir was in a rage; I could see his Mana Color.

"Oh please, Azrael didn't kill us. We pledge our loyalty to him. It's someone else. And besides, this man is not Azrael. You and I both knew he couldn't summon the dead."

Fenrir looked at me with a furious stare. Maybe he was thinking why such a low life like me could even summon a superior being like him. Or perhaps he was reading my status.

We heard a sigh.

"Lower your pride, will you?" Hel finally drilled some sense into Fenrir's head after an argument. "This Summon gave us a chance to live again. You should at least thank him. You're here because of him."

Fenrir looked fierce. He and I went into full battle mode using our eyes. And in the end, he bowed down and asked forgiveness.

The two agreed to call me a boss. And I did a full study of their bodies. Although I know there's nothing wrong with their bodies, I just need to make sure.

"I need you two to do a few things so that I'll know if something is wrong with your body. Get up."

My bodyguards then got up, with Fenrir mumbling something. I give them a few orders like walking, running, and jumping. So far, there's nothing wrong with their bodies.
