"Jax Luther," he scoffed.
"Oh my," she continued sarcastically, "is this all you can do?"
In the Luther's house, something terrible unfolded. Blood was everywhere, staining the prestigious sub-clan, the Luther Queens, with tragedy. All members were slaughtered, leaving only one survivorâJax Luther.
"Mother, please stop! You sent me here; why kill us all?" Jax pleaded.
"What did you say, you insolent child? I am not your mother!" Mei Luther King lashed out. "You were a disgrace to the Luther Kings, so I drove you out. Don't you remember? I am no longer your mother!"
"I wonder if you really came from my womb," she looked away, then clicked.
"I will end you here!" She suddenly declared, turning to Jax.
Her massive mace held high, and then it was set ablaze, fueled by her ancestral affinityâAblaze. She swung the mace at Jax with ferocious speed.
Suddenly, everything stopped for Jax for a moment.
