Once upon a time in a faraway kingdom, there lived a young prince who is very kind to his constituents. His name is Saul and even at a young age, he's acting like the crown prince. The King and Queen, Saul's parents made sure that he is well taken care of and is being trained as the future crown king. In short, his life is easy and extravagant but the parents made sure he stays humble and courteous.
On the other side of this kingdom lived a poor but noble child. His name is Sam. Sam completely looks like the crown prince but a peasant version. His only way of earning for their food is by asking for elms. His father always knocked him out and abuses him if he didn't provide any money. One day, Sam decided to go against his father's wishes, he didn't give him money so instead of receiving his anger, he runs fast as he could around the kingdom to see prince Saul. Saul is walking around the corner when he runs into Sam who's hiding in the garden. They were shocked when they notice they look the same. Saul invited Sam inside to eat, play and see the things he is doing.
On the other hand, Sam relates his sad story to the prince. Being with Sam made Saul feel comfortable. So he decided on this idea which is to switch places. The prince doesn't even know the outside world so he decided to take over Sam's life and vice versa just so he can explore the town. Sam is acting as the crown prince but his actions are off. The helpers in the palace don't care at all. They don't seem bothered by the new actions of their prince. Saul is not enjoying Sam's shoes. He got struck by Sam's father telling him he is such a lame and useless child.
Saul stayed like that for 2 days. He is begging for alms near the market and finally decided to give up. Just when it's time to put an end to the drama they have caused, Saul decided to go back to the palace. When he went to the palace, the guards don't want to let him in because of his dirty clothes. He definitely would try everything to stop the crowning ceremony of Sam. Sam felt ashamed because the helpers don't believe him telling him that he is not the real Saul.
When he sneaked inside the palace, Sam saw him and stood up for him. Sam proved that he is not Saul and decided to step down and not receive the crown. Saul was happy, he wasn't sold out by his friend Sam just to get away with a pretty life. Then the crowning ceremony was held the day after the incident. Prince Saul promised Sam that he will live in the palace as his assistant and will never go back to the filth of his abusive father. The two friends were happy living in the palace together.
