On one of the beautiful islands of Nova, a golden-haired student could be seen sleeping on the grass.
The student was, of course, Lucian.
Lucian was sleeping under a tree that shielded him from the sun's rays. Not all of the sun's rays were blocked; two rays of light made their way to Lucian's eyes.
The shadow of the leaves moving in the wind was seen on his face.
A gentle wind swept past Lucian, causing his hair and shirt to flutter a little in the wind.
A subtle movement could be seen in Lucian's eye locks. His eyes were irritated by the light of the sun.
Lucian slowly regained consciousness.
'Should I keep sleeping or wake up?' Lucian thought while still having his eyes closed.
'I should probably wake up; I have a class to attend too.'
'But it's so comfortable here, I don't want to go yet.'
'But I can't skip the class; I'm already in as much trouble as I can be.'
'Adbeel and the others will also be there.'
After a while of self-convincing, Lucian decided to open his eyes, revealing his beautiful golden eyes that seemed to shine in the bright rays of the sun.
Lucian sat up and stretched his arms.
"Yawn, how long have I been sleeping for?" Lucian asked himself while looking around.
He searched for his phone, found out that it was not in his pocket, and looked around for it.
He found it right beside him.
Checking the time, Lucian saw that it was 13:04.
'16 minutes left until class,' Lucian thought.
Lucian stood up and stretched a little before moving.
Lucian stopped, realizing that he had forgotten something.
"Wait, where's my blazer?"
Lucian looked around for his blazer.
"Well, shoot," Lucian cursed.
"I hope that blazer doesn't cost much."
Lucian lost his blazer while running away from Adbeel.
'Well, I was asking for it considering how I wore my blazer,' Lucian thought.
It was true. Resting a blazer on one's shoulders may look fashionable, but it does come with its downsides.
"Yawn, I should hurry back to class now," Lucian said as he looked back at the enormous structure that was his school.
It could be seen from 100 miles away. A clear sign of how big Nova was.
It was that big. This caused Lucian to wonder how long it took to build it.
Nonetheless, Lucian walked towards Nova.
Each of his steps on the wet grass made a gentle squish as each blade of grass yielded to the pressure and moisture, creating a subtle, damp rustle that echoed through the air.
A violent wind swept by Lucian, causing his hair and shirt to flutter violently in the wind.
Lucian squinted his eyes a little to not get any strands of hair on his eyes.
If anyone could see Lucian right now, they could only describe him with one word.
Majestic.
After 5-10 minutes of waking and sightseeing, Lucian arrived at the entrance of Nova.
Unlike last time, it was not as big of a shock seeing the beautiful sight of Nova. But it still was a shock.
It would take a whole year to be able to fully appreciate its beauty.
"Ding!" A ding could be heard from Lucian's right pocket.
"Mhm?"
Lucian pulled his phone out of his right pocket and checked what it was.
The notification came from Nova. The app Nova Academy uses for students and teachers.
(A.N. It's basically a combination of Skype and Teams)
[From {Alexander}: Hi, everyone! I'm your aura and weapon class teacher. I just wanted to inform you guys that today's weapon class will be held in {Load Location}. Class will start in 10 minutes, so better start moving!]
[From {Adbeel}: Okay]
[From Clara: Okay, teacher]
[From {Adrian.S}: K, {Adbeel} {Lucian} {Gabriel} You guys coming?]
[From {Gabriel}: Yeah, I'll be there.]
Lucian gave a small smile when he read the messages.
'Acting like the class group chat is their own small group chat. That's so like them.' Lucian thought with a smile.
[From {Lucian}: As long as you guys are there, I'll be there]
Once Lucian wrote that message, he closed his phone and put it back into his pocket.
"Let's head to class then," Lucian said to himself.
In an open field, 29 students could be seen standing in front of their teacher.
Alexander, an imposing figure at 6'7", exudes strength with a muscular build. His black hair and eyes add to the intensity of his presence. Carrying a sword at his waist, a spear on his back, and an array of weapons, he seems prepared for any challenge that may come his way.
Seeing that one student was missing, Alexander decided to ask for that student.
"Is Lucian Elysia here?!" Alexander called out with a calm and pleasant voice.
Nobody responded.
"He's on his way," Adrian answered while looking down at his phone.
[From {Lucian}: I'll be a little late for class, so make an excuse for me]
"He's helping an old lady out," Adrian said.
"Oh? Then we will wait for him," Alexander said, crossing his arms and sitting down.
Confusion spread out across the students.
One student mustered up the courage to ask.
"Uhh, Teacher."
"You can call me Alexander."
"Ah, yes, Mr. Alexander."
"Just Alexander will be fine."
"Uhh, okay, Alexander," The student said, clearly not used to calling a teacher by their first name.
"Why do we have to delay the time of our class just for one student?" The student asked.
Alexander smiled before answering.
"It's important for every student to have the chance to learn. You all have worked hard to get into this academy.
I don't want that hard work to be rewarded with disrespect." Alexander answered honestly with a pure and kind smile on his face.
Smile lines could be seen as he was smiling, signaling that he was in his early 30s.
Class 1-A was amazed by their teacher's companionship.
"Hey!!!!" Lucian could be seen waving his hands in the distance.
Alexander smiled at the sight.
"You're a little late, you know!" Alexander said, laughing.
"Haha, I'm sorry," Lucian apologized.
"No worries! As long as you don't do it again," Alexander assured.
"Now, let the class begin!" Alexander said as he stood up and stretched out his hands.
