"Where are you coming from this late at night?"
"I went out to buy some beer. What are you doing in front of my place this late at night?"
"I have a delivery."
She held up the tightly wrapped bundles in her hands. Ethan's agile fingers typed in the passcode to the door lock and opened the door. He took the bundles from Lily's hands.
"Why didn't John come instead?"
