Chapter 1 - Prologue

"My Lord, the humans are here. You have been poisoned; there is no escape," the lady with long ears said.

Long ears.

Red hair.

Purple eyes.

The maid of the devil lord

She was kneeling and bowing to the devil lord, who sat on his throne. His eyes were blazing red, and droplets of his blood were on his lips. Blood was dripping from his nose, and his skin was losing color. He was on the verge of death.

"Has the imposter been gotten rid of?" The devil asked.

"Yes, my Lord," she answered. "I killed him myself."

"Good, Raven," he replied. "Let's begin the reincarnation process."

Her head shot up. "It will fail! We haven't gotten all that is needed; you will die if you"

"Enough!" He bellowed.

The room shook at the echo of his voice. He was the devil. The king of the three hells The devil's once-trusted companion, the second-in-command, had betrayed him. The poison seeped through his veins—a treacherous act that left him on the brink of death. His skin pallid, eyes blazing red, and droplets of blood staining his lips—the devil's deteriorating state bore witness to the betrayal that unfolded within his inner circle. The humans had found him, and he was going to be killed if he was caught.

The reincarnation was the only way he was going to be safe. It was the only way to keep him alive. The ritual of reincarnation, an ancient and perilous magic, emerged as his only sanctuary. The air crackled with uncertainty as the devil, weakened and betrayed, clung to the last threads of life, seeking refuge in the mysterious depths of a forbidden ritual.

'Reincarnation after one thousand years.'

After a thousand years, he was going to be reborn, and when that happens, the devil is going to be healed and able to take his revenge.

"Yes, my Lord, I will begin the reincarnation process." She stood to her feet and obediently walked over to the devil's side.

Raven's eyes glowed with a strange power as she used her slender fingers to create a magic ball. The air crackled with energy as the ball formed in her hands. Her gaze showed the seriousness of the task. The magic ball glowed, showing the power she used for the risky ritual. The ground slowly began opening, a blue ball emitting from it. Just one word was going to trap the devil inside the ball; he was going to be alive until he was reincarnated.

She knew that the reincarnation was going to fail, but she had no idea what she was going to do. He was going to die if he stayed; there was no use. It was better to take the risk.

She took the ball to him, and the devil grabbed it and glanced at it. He held it between his fingers, and the reincarnation process began.

"Make sure to take the ball to the place needed," the devil instructed. "When I reawaken, you will still be my servant. You dwell in me, and we are going to be reincarnated together."

She nodded. "Yes, my Lord."

"Now the wording," the devil said. "We will begin the reincarnation before the humans get in."

The side of the building from the right began to crack, and dust began filling the room. The red-haired girl began talking while the devil cut his fingers with a blade. He held his finger above the ball, and his blood dropped above the ball.

In one thousand years, he was going to be reborn, and he was going to take his revenge. Darkness filled the room, and the blue ball absorbed him. The lady caught the ball and hurried away. She had to place it in the right place. The building collapsed, falling on top of her and crushing her. She let go of the ball, and it rolled over, falling into running water.

The devil had been ambushed by the humans he despised. The humans had finally found the devil, who had been causing them destruction. They had found the devil of evil, and now he lay in a ball on the water bodies. The water took him away with it, and one day he was going to be alive.

That's if his reincarnation never fails.
