"Okay, let us start," said the God of Fire, waving his hand in the air. Suddenly, an alert appeared on Aldric's system screen, stating, "Due to interference from an unknown being, the connection with the system will temporarily be stopped." Aldric looked at both gods standing before him and asked, "What is going on here?"
"I don't know. I didn't do anything," replied G.O.D, glancing towards the God of Fire.
"Yes, it was me who did it," said the God of Fire, his smile appearing more sinister than benevolent. "As you know, gods cannot directly intervene in our world's matters. Therefore, I cut off the connection that linked the world and us. Now, I can share my blessings with you. Get ready, and when I do that, accept it without rejecting it," explained the God of Fire in response to Aldric's question.
"What do you mean by 'don't reject it'?" asked Aldric.
"Since you are a hero, your soul instinctively knows how to reject unknown mana. Sometimes, our blessings don't work on heroes because their souls unconsciously reject them," clarified the God of Fire. "Let's do it quickly, as they will try to establish a connection," he added in a hurried tone.
"Okay," agreed Aldric.
Suddenly, a bright light enveloped Aldric, and intricate pentagram figures appeared on his soul. A reddish aura surrounded him. After a few seconds, another burst of energy occurred, and another core formed within Aldric's soul. He fell unconscious.
Shock and silence filled the atmosphere. The room was so quiet that even the sound of a dropped needle could be heard.
"Well, this is unexpected," said the God of Fire, breaking the silence.
"What did you do to him, you fucker?" G.O.D angrily questioned the God of Fire.
"I didn't do anything. And don't tell me you don't know who this boy is," replied the God of Fire, his tone filled with mockery. "This boy was destined to awaken this core, but it seems my blessings triggered it sooner. Well, it's a good thing. He will be able to use more abilities, thanks to me," he added, satisfaction evident on his face.
"What do you mean? Isn't he just a simple boy?" G.O.D asked, still confused by the situation.
"Hahahaha!" the God of Fire burst into laughter. "Don't make me laugh this hard. Tears are coming out of my eyes," he said, struggling to contain his amusement. "You bastard, say it quickly. What do you mean by 'earlier'?" G.O.D demanded, growing increasingly annoyed by the God of Fire's laughter.
"Don't tell me you really summoned him here without knowing his existence, and you call yourself the overseer of death," the God of Fire said, unable to stop laughing. After a few seconds, he calmed down and continued, "He is their son."
"Whose?" G.O.D asked, still bewildered by the sudden revelation.
"By 'their,' I mean the previous..." the God of Fire began, a smile playing on his lips. "H...ho...how is that even possible?" G.O.D shouted, shocked by the revelation.
"What do you mean, why?" the God of Fire replied. "Weren't they killed by the emperors 19 years ago? So how is this possible?" G.O.D questioned.
"I will tell you more later, but not now. He will soon regain consciousness," the God of Fire said.
After some time passed, Aldric regained consciousness as the system alert displayed, "System is being repaired. Please wait patiently," followed by a loading screen. After a minute, another notification appeared, stating, [Repair complete! Congratulations to player
for gaining new abilities, blessings, and..." The last part shocked Aldric to his core, as the system revealed, "[A new Divine Fire has been added].
