Chapter 10 - The Family's Distrust

While harmony was gradually established within the vampire family, the threat of the Dark Master cast a shadow of unease and distrust over the hearts of some members. On this night, an unexpected event once again stirred the calmness within the vampire clan.

In the family hall, Saphira raised an unexpected point: "We are too optimistic about the power of the Dark Master. Cassavell, have you been concealing some truths?"

Cassavell hesitated for a moment, sensing a trace of unease. He responded, "I haven't hidden anything. The threat of the Dark Master is real, and we must face it together."

However, Saphira was not easily convinced. She looked at other family members, attempting to find agreement. Some members began to express doubts about Cassavell, believing that he might be holding some secrets regarding the Dark Master.

Alex and Elena exchanged a brief glance, sensing the growing internal distrust within the family. Alex spoke up, "We cannot afford internal disputes at this moment. The threat of the Dark Master is real, and we must unite."

However, the atmosphere of distrust within the family persisted. Saphira questioned Cassavell, "Why should we believe that you can lead us through this crisis? Perhaps we need a leader who is more powerful and impartial."

Cassavell took a deep breath, understanding that the internal conflicts of the family had reached a critical point. He decided to take action to prove his sincerity. He said, "If there's anything I need to explain to the family, I will do so without reservation. We need to work together, not fight amongst ourselves at this moment."

Under the scrutiny of the family members, Cassavell opened the family's ancient library and shared ancient manuscripts about the Dark Master. This act dispelled some members' doubts, but skepticism still lingered. The future of the family faced a test of internal and external challenges.
