Rip had tucked me in so well that I wasn't able to move my arms, and combined with the fact that the Reaver on top of me was cutting off my air, I was seconds away from a full blown panic attack.
But the Reaver wasn't happy with such a 'quick' death for me.
"Rip has been a pain in my ass since he first showed up here. I was with Alpha before all this shit happened; I deserve a lot more than whatever the fuck I am being given," sneered the Reaver as he pressed down even harder on my mouth and nose.
I had no idea what he was talking about, the ringing in my ears preventing most of his words from being heard, but it was enough.
Leave it to men to get a woman involved in their petty disputes. He knew he couldn't take out Rip, so I guess I was the next best thing.
