Chapter 117 - A Rumor

I followed his gaze and looked down at the military man's hands. The blood had long since dried, but the memory of it would never leave.

 

I wanted to open my mouth and say something, offer him some sort of condolence, but there was nothing I could say to make this better.

 

And I needed to stop putting myself out there only to be abused when he realized what actually happened here at Camp Hell.

 

Since he wasn't fighting me, this healing went a lot better than the first. His body wasn't fighting the invasion but rather warmly welcomed me.

 

"So, more than a doctor then, huh?" he said, a slight smirk on his face. "You're a healer?"

 

I nodded my head at his words while internally; I wondered if I should completely heal him, even the old wounds that still left him in pain.

 

Would my actions be thanked or looked upon as me being a sadistic bitch?
