Muya arrived, pressing the doorbell. Penelope walked over to open the door, finding Muya standing there.
"Muya, please come in," she said, welcoming him inside.
Benjamin and Erica were sitting around the dining table, having breakfast.
Benjamin remained steadfast with his eating, not minding Muya's presence that much, perhaps because Muya reminded him of the frustrating news about their mother. He stirred the tea that he made for Erica and called her back to sit.
"Erica, the tea will get cold," he said, placing the cup right by where she had been sitting.
"Okay, I'm coming. But Muya, are you okay? Come sit with us and eat. Why do you look so pale?" Erica gestured for him to sit, patting the seat next to her.
Muya followed without hesitation. "Thanks, Erica," he said, grabbing the seat. "Benjamin, I tried calling you, but since you didn't answer—"
