Year 735
Until now, those who control this world from the shadows preferred to remain discreet. Even though they did not hesitate to use enormous force to eliminate us from a distance, they have finally realized that this is no longer feasible. They now understand that it was a mistake and that they should have acted directly, rather than delegating their tasks.
We managed to identify and defeat most of them. This did not sit well with the highest ranks of their organization. We discovered the name of their group and even the identities of their most secret members.
This year, I turned 18, and I can say that I am a prodigy. In just one year after rising in rank, I developed skills that were once inaccessible without heavy sacrifices. I am also very proud of my comrades, who have never stopped fighting to reach the level they have today.
When I look at them now, I can't deny that I love them. Since my childhood, I have always wanted to have people like them in my life. During our travels, I decided to hide nothing from them, whether it was my history or the true meaning of my dream. Of course, when I recruited them, I removed my mask, and they always had the same reaction. It's quite funny when I think about it.
I remember asking my mother why I looked the way I do, and she replied, "It's because I prayed for you to be this way." In my family, we have always had faith and never neglected our prayers. Witnessing daily miracles, it is only natural that I never turned away from the divine.
But where there is a creator, there is inevitably a destroyer, and he did not take long to make his entrance.
The Peacers' Council
The tension in the room was palpable. The twelve Peacers, two representatives from each continent—Moana, Zafar, Kibara, Novea, Kiyo, and Orenda—stood around the large round table. Their respective apprentices were present, observing and listening attentively, aware of the importance of this meeting.
The Peacer of Moana (male) spoke first, his voice resonating with calm authority:
"We are here today to discuss three crucial issues. The first is the growing chaos in the world. We have all observed increasing disturbances in our respective territories."
The Peacer of Zafar (female), with a calm but determined voice, added:
"The reports we have received indicate a troubling instability. Although the specific causes vary, it is clear that these disturbances are orchestrated. We need to understand who is pulling the strings."
The Peacer of Kibara (male), passionate, spoke vehemently:
"The evidence we have gathered shows unusual movements and secret meetings. These clandestine activities cannot be ignored. They are the source of this chaos. We must rise and fight against this threat."
The Peacer of Novea (female) added incisively:
"We must also consider the impact of these disturbances on the populations. People are suffering and losing confidence in our ability to maintain peace. We cannot stand idly by."
The Peacer of Zafar (male), known for his pragmatism, spoke in a grave voice:
"We must act, but with caution. Our intervention must be carefully planned. If we rush, we risk worsening the situation."
The Peacer of Kibara (female), with her usual wisdom and gentleness, replied:
"We must also ensure that our actions do not cause more chaos. Our priority must be to protect the innocent while eradicating the source of these disturbances."
The Peacer of Kiyo (male), always thoughtful, nodded and spoke:
"We know that these disturbances are not spontaneous. They are orchestrated by the shadow organization, [CENSORED]. Their influence extends further than we had imagined. We must dismantle them."
The Peacer of Moana (female), with a voice full of serenity, responded:
"[CENSORED] has infiltrated our institutions and manipulates events to their advantage. Our task is to destroy this organization from within. But this will require unwavering coordination and determination."
The Peacer of Orenda (male), known for his determination, added:
"To achieve this, we must strike hard and fast. Identify their weak points, neutralize their agents, and expose their secrets. It is our only chance to restore order."
The Peacer of Kiyo (female), with a soft but firm voice, concluded this point:
"We must remain united. Our enemies seek to divide us, but our strength lies in our unity. Together, we can dismantle [CENSORED] and end their reign of terror."
Finally, the Peacer of Novea (male), after a moment of silence, addressed the final issue:
"There is another major problem to resolve. The Soulkeepers and their leader. His recent actions have caused significant disturbances, and he seems to have links with the shadow organization."
The Peacer of Orenda (female), with a voice full of gravity, concluded:
"We all know who we are talking about. He is the principal instigator of the Soulkeepers and a direct threat to our peace. He must be stopped without delay."
The Peacers looked at each other, almost unanimously agreeing on the course of action. The decision was made. They would strike hard and fair, to preserve the peace they had worked so hard to establish. The weight of this decision rested heavily on their shoulders, but their unity and determination would be their greatest assets in this new battle.
In conclusion, they decided together, with a unanimous voice:
"We must stop Sahar the Subversive."
