Chapter 74 - 73 – THE MEETING 5

"And it isn't your fault; it's mine," the Grand Elder's words brought me back. "I had grown complacent, being the only Titan-level individual on this planet made me less focused. But you're probably wondering how we found out he came here unnoticed, if I couldn't sense him at all." He pauses and looks at the chief.

"Khan did, and I am proud of that. The value of having elementals in one's domain was shown once more. As you all know, elementals act as soldiers, watchers, or whatever you want them to be in your domain. Unlike you, the creator, who can lose focus or even forget about some things in your domain, the elementals never can. With their numerous eyes, as soon as they sensed the slightest difference they are alerted, and so sensed a different energy than usual, and so he retreated immediately. Though for a being of my level, that was a silly mistake. It probably assumed that none of the domains had elementals after witnessing my domain and Mul's," he turns to Mul.

"My domain?" she asked.

"Khan sensed your energy at the crater; plants and holy water were also in the same location with this… this is the conclusion I have come to," turning to face the whole group. "This being first arrived or noticed our presence in this world the day Aleazm sensed the shift in the sand." He turned to Aleazm with a smile on his face, clearly impressed now by Aleazm's observation skills.

"Either impressed or simply curious, it followed you to the lake and then back home with you. It most likely was in this sanctuary with you all when you were having that meeting," he continued, now facing the whole group with the smile still on his beautiful face.

"Out of curiosity, or perhaps sensing the true essence of the holy water, something even I can't perceive unless it's purified by the Night Rock, it followed the Fillers to Mul's domain. There, it witnessed Mul's use of the Night Rock. With the strain of continuously using your domain and the demanding period we were in, you had neither elementals nor the focus to sense it..." His smile finally fell from his face to a serious, self-disappointed expression, though he concealed it well.

"And so, since then, he most likely knows all there is to know about us—our powers, skills, fashion, our culture. I am sure that the holy water and plants left at the bottom of that crater would be essential resources for us at this time, and all these resources would surely have a time limit. We have quantities and categories in which we divide and use holy water and plants from your domain, so we know when we would need another batch," he said, facing Mul.

'I am speechless,' I was both marveled at the Grand Elder's thinking and analysis skills, both by the fact that the being has been with us since that day and by what he said. The hidden meaning is that it could be among us, in this domain, no, in the sanctuary right here.

A young man with dark blue eyes and blue hair was present, though he couldn't be seen. He sat comfortably, even a bit lazily, within their group circle in the sanctuary, wearing a pleasant smile on his beautiful face. He expressed satisfaction with the analysis of the Grand Elder.

"He didn't disappoint. Even if they are crude with their techniques and knowledge, there will always be wisdom of age," he said out loud, yet no one reacted.

Lying fully on his back, he felt the beautiful grass brush his face. All he was waiting for now was for them to conclude this meeting and leave with them the same way they entered.

As he glanced at the rigid, uneven diamond-made door, he remembered the black rock in Mul's domain. "Who gave them these treasures?" he thought.
