There was silence as everyone still awaited my answer.
'Did he not think of that?' the spokesperson for women, Kedi, thought. 'I can't really blame him. If he didn't think of that, the stress his mind would have been in, having to care for the other members over something that could most likely be as strong, if not stronger, than him without even being able to sense it,' the spokesperson for men, Toko, thought.
"Did you forget that, Aleazm?" the Chief spoke.
'He mostly likely did?' the one in charge of distribution of resources and food, Mul, thought.
"I didn't," I replied, giving a wide smile with a little chuckle.
Sighs of relief could be heard.
"This is serious, Aleazm. You shouldn't joke around too much," Joheki started with a smile on his face.
With that, they knew that their original evacuation plan was intact. However, the fact still remains that there is a being out there with the ability to make themselves invisible to the senses of a general. This was not something to be taken lightly. But first, "Waka, you had a question," the chief called out.
"Yes, sir. My first statement is irrelevant with the answer that Sir Aleazm has given, but I would still suggest that we start The Test of Strength by the end of tomorrow," he said.
"Umm, a reasonable proposal. All those who are opposing, please raise your hands." There were hands raised by Kedi, Mul, and Toko, while Joheki and Aleazm's hands were not raised.
"Kedi, what is your reason?" the chief said.
"Though, with a potentially powerful unknown enemy or friend at our hand, I see why. But even if Waka forgot, the two generals should know very well all the preparation made after a new batch of water from the 'Well of Hope' is received. And we have babies coming as well this time. We need the manpower." Kedi looked at both Mul and Toko, who were nodding along with her words. Then she turned her gaze towards Joheki. "Isn't Waka supposed to be the impulsive one? Even if you fear what this unknown could do, a being that can evade Aleazm's senses could very well be at the chief's level. What are cannon folders going to do against that?"
