My name is Aleazm. The meaning, I do not know. I am the leader of the Holy Water receiving team, but on this expedition, I sensed something for the first time in a long while. I do not know, maybe I was mistaken, but I felt the sand being pushed in at certain intervals, and the direction of whatever was pushing the sand was coming towards our path. However, the sand suddenly stopped being pushed, and whatever was moving had stopped.
I was highly annoyed, even disappointed. I guess I just wanted to know if there was any other life on this planet, even at the cost of my life. I warned the others to remain on high alert, but nothing happened. I didn't even sense anything like that again.
Do you know, there is a difference when the sand is being pushed or pulled, carried around by the wind, and when it is moved by a living thing? I can clearly distinguish between the two, and that's how we avoid sandstorms and strong winds. My doubts were cleared because I could sense something other than the wind or rocks falling.
We easily reached the 'Well of Hope' and returned home safely. Nothing felt off, and my instincts didn't sense any distress or danger. However, I intentionally led the team to take a slight detour, which kept us in the desert longer than usual. Home is probably starting to worry by now. I guess I was just being paranoid, but even then, my team followed. I have proven my worth on many occasions.
After lifting the gate and entering the tunnel, many of the members dropped their guard. The younger ones, who were on only their second or third expedition, started sprinting with infectious happiness. This caused the entire team to sprint with them. I couldn't help but smile, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel like a beacon of salvation. The beauty of our home was before us; we had arrived.
