Chereads / Beast Tamer: Start New Beginning / Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

Spark had not been trained, so its attack speed wasn't fast. By the time the chubby pigeon had flown up, it was only halfway to its collision.

"Coo!"

Screech was a relatively ordinary ability and couldn't directly cause any damage in battle. It could only momentarily affect the opponent.

To Zhan Wei, the sound was a bit harsh, but Spark's movements staggered, and its speed slowed down slightly.

"Aerial Strike," Tiang Liu commanded immediately.

Aerial Strike was an exclusive skill for flying beasts, similar to the collision of ground-based beasts. The difference between the two was that Ram relied solely on the physical strength of the beast's limbs, while Aerial Strike could generate a far more powerful impact by utilizing the flow of air.

"Pigeon" flew back, with the airflow swirling around, making a whistling sound as it charged straight towards the Spark. Spark instinctively tried to dodge the approaching Pigeon.

"Don't move!" Zhan Wei issued the command at that moment.

Getting hit by an aerial attack would definitely cause considerable damage, but Spark, upon hearing Zhan Wei's command, forcefully controlled its body and chose to obey Zhan Wei's words.

It was unbelievable!

The Hedgehog Head stared at the scene on the field in astonishment, his eyes widened.

Regardless of Zhan Wei's command or the Spark's response, he found it unbelievable.

Putting aside the command, since when was the Firefang Dog so obedient?! Even for the second or third contracted beasts, it would be acceptable, but this was clearly the first magical beast of a rookie Beast Tamer.

Among the thousand rookies, you couldn't find one with a contract fire-type magical beast. Even their school, with over 3,000 people, only produced two daredevils who contracted a fire-type magical beast as their first.

Fire-type magical beasts have an irritable temper and are untrainable.

How did they manage to make the fire-type magical beast obediently stand there without moving and take a beating?!

If they weren't still in battle, the Hedgehog Head would have wanted to run over and learn from this fierce men.

"Now, jump!"

Zhan Wei calmly observed the situation and issued the command just as the Pigeon was about to collide with Spark.

Without hesitation, Spark immediately leaped up the very next second after Zhan Wei gave the command.

Tiang Liu was stunned by the scene before her eyes.

How did this Firefang Dog just...

How did it jump onto the back of the Pigeon!

"Fang of Fire, attack its wings!" Taking advantage of the opponent's lack of response, Zhan Wei issued the next command.

Spark immediately exposed its sharp teeth, and flames immediately engulfed it as it ruthlessly bit the right wing of the Pigeon.

"Coo!!!"

Tiang Liu looked at Zhan Wei in silence for a moment before finally speaking. "Zhan Wei, is that you name?"

Zhan Wei looked back at Tiang Liu, his eyes filled with determination. "That's my name."

"Zhan Wei is the winner," Tiang Liu announced, reluctantly accepting the outcome.

She then proceeded to retrieve chubby pigeon

and returned him to the Beast Taming Manual.

"How did you manage to time it perfectly for fire fang doh to jump onto chubby pigeon 's back?" Tiang Liu approached Zhan Wei, her expression complex.

Zhan Wei, a young boy smaller than her, possessed such a strong sense of battle consciousness. The timing for the jump wasn't easy to calculate, especially with the speed of the aerial strike. If chubby pigeon had been too fast, fire fang dog wouldn't have made it in time. It required calculating chubby pigeon's speed during the attack and accounting for any hesitation on Fire Fang Dog's part.

All of this relied on trust and guidance from a Beast Tamer.

Zhan Wei replied earnestly, "It was just intuition."

Tiang Liu remained silent, unsure of what to say.

The two of them hadn't spoken for half a day.

Zhan Wei stood silently on the side.

Hedgehog gestured to Tiang Liu with his head.

Tiang Liu curiously asked, "What's wrong with your eyes?"

Hedgehog: "..."

So dumb.

Hedgehog resisted the urge to hold his forehead and restrained himself to say one word, "Money."

Liang Liu suddenly realized, hurriedly took out 50 Alliance coins from his pocket and handed them over.

Hedgehog: "..."

You deserve to be single! Couldn't you exchange contact information and transfer the money?!

"Thank you, I'll be going now," Zhan Wei took the money and smiled.

There was only a short period of time during peak hours after school, and he had to make the most of it to approach more people.

"Wait, can you also fight me?" Hedgehog stopped Zhan Wei. "I don't want money, just tell me the secret of raising a Fire fang Dog."

Zhan Wei shook his head. "I don't have any secrets."

"That's impossible. If there are no secrets, then why is the Fire fang Dog so obedient?" Hedgehog looked incredulous.

The methods of raising pets were not a secret. Universities even had majors dedicated to it.

People who specialized in pet breeding were known as breeders in the Alliance. They also had to pass exams to progress through the ranks, starting from F rank to SSS rank.

Some people who had contracted pets would specifically seek out breeders to create a series of breeding plans.

However, others had their own unique methods of taming pets and were unwilling to share them.

Like the Wei family in Jiang City, they used food that fairies and supernatural creatures of the Fairytype loved, making the elusive Fairytype creatures willingly become their pets.

Naturally, this type of food aroused envy, and if the formula was patented or sold, it would bring in a lot of profits.

But the Wei family only used it for their own members.

Later on, almost everyone in the Wei family had a Fairytype pet, and after more than 300 years of development, they became known as the Fairy Clan.

Hedgehog believed that Zhan Wei didn't want to tell him.
