"Snowbaallll~" She called out, just shy of a whine, as she swept into the dining hall. "Snowball, baby~! You saved food for mama, didn't you?"
"Miao." His answer was so straightforward and sweet! He didn't hesitate at all!
"You did!!" Her eyes lit up at the sight of Snowball. He'd been abandoned on his pillow throne near her chair. Probably left to go steal his favorite pieces of breakfast for himself, she knew how it was.
She swept the little furry fellow up into her arms and pressed kisses all over his precious white head. "My good boy, you're my most perfect good boy!"
He started to purr, nuzzling his face happily against her.
Such a sweet little boy he was, so open about his affection, so happy for more of his mother's.
The fact that she could hear the rumble in his tiny little body - it filled her heart with pride.
Such a happy baby, Snowball. She always wanted her little darling so happy.
