Phoenix laid on his back, completely relaxed.
He lounged there as if he belonged right in that spot, as if he could think of nothing better for him to do with his life than just lay on her bed, lounging in the afternoon sun.
He lay atop the plush cover, not underneath, leaving the entirety of his nude body visible.
As was the natural order of things.
There was not even the slightest flaw anywhere on his body. She had no idea how he managed it, truthfully, It wasn't just that his body was perfectly sculpted and maintained - he had no blemishes. No scars. No odd little bumps.
Not even a freckle.
She never really understood how that was possible, but she knew that it was Phoenix. It was just a part of him.
He propped his head up with a fist, looking her up and down as she looked in the mirror with a long, leisurely look that felt somehow indulgent.
