She was exhausted when she finally walked back into the room she and her husbands were assigned.
Snowball immediately got up from where he was napping, ears perked, ultra alert, and sprinted toward her, squeaking all the way.
He leaped into her arms, rubbing his face up against her, and she leaned down to nuzzle his head with her own.
"Hi, my baby Snowball, have you had a nice day, hm~?" She cooed in a soothing tone as she stroked the fur on his back.
He let out another shrill chirp in response, as if to ask if she wanted to cuddle.
She giggled, holding him up to her cheek and nuzzling him gently, cheek to cheek.
The furry creature responded by licking her, before pulling away, almost as if to ask where she'd been.
He wasn't about to be satisfied with petting alone.
"Sorry, sweet boy. Mommy's just been very busy." She hummed apologetically. "But now I have some free time and I missed you so much~."
