The interrogation of the assassins revealed very little.
Her men weren't willing to give up just yet, but...
Well. It did prove something: there could be no doubt now that there was a spy in the castle. And they were well connected enough to hear what she'd said in the throne room. Either they were among the nobles present, or connected to one of them.
It wasn't much, as it was rather obvious but...
She was trying to come up with reasons why her dramatic, successful plot wasn't actually a waste of time.
"...Ah. Ah! We captured a bunch of their forces." She nodded to herself. "They can't have endless men."
She did her best to cheer herself up. And none of her harem was around to poke holes in that reasoning, so she counted it as completely solid.
That was good.
In the meantime, she tried to get more of her business done.
She smiled as she settled into a seat across from Julia.
