When she woke, it was to the smell of food, and a pair of lips on her forehead.
"Ahh...you're awake, then?" Phoenix hummed, pulling away from her and smiling innocently, as if he hadn't just woken her on purpose..
She nodded.
Snowball was nowhere to be seen.
Phoenix immediately anticipated her worry, and kissed her forehead again. "Snowball's with Alex in the kitchen. Alex is introducing him to some nutritious food to help wean him."
She nodded, relaxing.
She sighed. "That's good..."
Phoenix smiled gently. "Breakfast is ready." He whispered, gesturing to the table set up near her window. It wasn't nearly as large as the one in the dining room, but it was cozy. And good for lazy mornings or...lazy...anytimes.
"Ahh..." She mumbled. "I'm starved."
Phoenix helped her sit up, then guided her over to the table, where a feast awaited them.
She sighed. "Oh wow..."
It all smelled amazing.
