She stretched and yawned. It was a bit cramped in the carriage, but it was cozy, too. She leaned her cheek on Phoenix's shoulder.
She liked feeling the warmth of the person next to her. She glanced over at Alex, whose eyes were fixed out the window, his brow furrowed and mouth tight. "Something on your mind, Alex?" She asked.
He looked at her. "I suppose you could say that." He responded vaguely, then shook his head. "Don't worry about it, though."
"Okay..." She replied softly, leaning back in her seat. She watched the trees roll by through the window. "It's beautiful, isn't it...?" She mused quietly.
Alexander took a deep breath, let it out. "Indeed. The forests of Nevremia are lush. I've heard that some parts of them are even more lush and green than Isca."
Phoenix made a little thoughtful noise from the back of his throat.
Octavian hummed, crossing his arms. "It's certainly more beautiful than most forests I've witnessed."
