The Palace of Indulgence, a pocket dimension unique to each Dark Preceptor. In that dimension, Dark Preceptors become quasi-omniscient and omnipresent, obtain various boons and a unique ability that enables them to increase their battle prowess massively.
According to the scriptures, the Palace of Indulgence reflects the Dark Preceptor's vision of the world. Vel'Asha believed that all sentient lives possessed infinite potential, and that no matter how bleak a situation looked, light awaited at the end of the road. Because of that uncharacteristically hopeful vision, especially for a Naifem, the Queen Mother's Palace of Indulge mirrored the Garden of Eden.
Akamana, on the other end, saw the world as an organized slaughterhouse where beasts in human skin competed for wealth and glory. And so to enjoy her life to the fullest and impose her vision of the perfect reality, she had to become the apex predator.
