Liu Ruyan walked up to Jiang Xu and raised her glass, "Mr. Jiang, I toast to you."
"Sure." Jiang Xu clinked glasses with her and drank the remaining half of the wine in his glass.
"Miss Liu, is there anything else?"
After the toast, Liu Ruyan did not leave immediately but still stood in front of Jiang Xu.
"Yes." Liu Ruyan nodded slightly, "Would it be convenient for Mr. Jiang to step aside to talk?"
"Certainly."
The two moved to a position by the window.
Jiang Xu quietly observed the woman in front of him, who had a very sophisticated face and short hair.
Liu Ruyan spoke calmly, "I come from the Liu family of Qingcheng, a side branch."
"Oh?" Jiang Xu was somewhat surprised, "I didn't pick up a Qingcheng accent from you."
Moreover, Liu Ruyan did not possess the typical traits of Qingcheng girls.
Jiang Xu knew of the Qingcheng Liu family.
It was a wealthy household that had been established for several hundred years.
