Suddenly grabbed by the hands by Jiang Xu, An Nuonuo felt a little unsettled.
She attempted to free herself forcefully but to no avail.
"Don't move. It's cold. Don't let your little hands freeze," said Jiang Xu earnestly.
"But..." An Nuonuo softly replied, "My hands won't be cold if I just keep them in my pockets."
Jiang Xu said quite seriously, "My body warmth isn't better than your pockets?
Alright, enough talking, let's go. After breakfast, we can take a nap."
An Nuonuo felt like he was merely spouting nonsense, but she had no evidence to prove so.
So, she let him lead her forward.
There was an odd feeling stirring in her heart.
It felt sweet, akin to drinking honey water.
"Are we eating here?"
A dumpling shop appeared before them and An Nuonuo asked.
"No," Jiang Xu shook his head, "No dumplings today. Let's walk a bit further."
So, they went on for a few hundred meters more.
"There's a place that sells rice noodles here," An Nuonuo pointed out again.
