Martha Davidson spoke up, and all eyes turned to her.
Ruth Dawn's brows furrowed slightly.
Catherine was somewhat puzzled, looking back and forth between the two groups. She didn't entirely trust William Cole, which was why she had specifically called for Sergio Calderon and his people to test what was going on with Cole.
She was content to stand by and enjoy the show, not saying a word.
She was curious to see how the story would unfold next.
"What, do you know him?" Sergio Calderon, his hair and beard all white, glanced sidelong at Martha Davidson and asked.
Martha Davidson nodded gently, "To answer Master's question, I do indeed know this man."
"Didn't you send me to Midocen two days ago to save a girl?"
"Disciple got to Midocen and indeed saved that girl."
"But this man intervened to stop me and repeatedly ruined my good deeds."
