In the past, Valerie Dawn was resplendent, flaunting designer brands from head-to-toe and indulging in high-end cosmetics. She was a fashionista, a glamorous city dweller.
But the current Valerie Dawn was a world apart, dirty and disheveled, with unkempt hair and a haggard face – a stark contrast to her former self!
After the car accident, and an encounter with William Cole, whom she once looked down upon, Valerie found herself in a whirl of emotions; she wanted nothing more than to get out of William's sight.

You damaged my car, and now you want to flee!" A plump middle-aged man stormed in, catching hold of Valerie's wrist, his eyes red with fury.
