Early the next morning, after washing his face, William Cole hurried to the fire scene at Thirteen Pharmaceuticals.
The upper half of the entire building had been reduced to rubble.
William looked at the firefighting personnel working back and forth on the site. His spirit was depleted, having spent the previous night reviewing the surveillance footage without finding any sign of Eloise Torres.
At this point, if Eloise Torres had disappeared with the antidote and the hard drive, no one would be able to find her.
"Mr. Cole, the initial tally is ready," a female secretary approached, holding a folder, her white shirt stained with black soot.
"We've lost a total of seventeen laboratories and over thirty raw material warehouses, and ten refrigeration units got destroyed."
