"We're running out of bandages!"
"Almost running out of medicines!"
"Another batch of patients are coming!"
"HELP ME!"
"Ahh! My arm!"
"Someone help!"
In a make shift hospital at the port city of Evergreen. More and more injured soldiers were brought back from the seas.
"We are almost running out of space! Bring them out the blankets and lay them out, use them as beds in the meantime!"
"Yes my Queen!"
The one who was ordering and commanding the hospital was the head director of the Evergreen Hospital and also the first lady of the Kingdom, Queen Anne Camilla.
"Sarah I need you to lead a few people and head to the Hospital's warehouse and bring more medicines that we needed. We are almost running out and good thing we had stocked up more before the war." The Queen instructed her daughter the second princess of Evergreen.
"Sarah?" After calling a few times, she realized that Sarah was a bit dazed and pale
"SARAH!" She shouted.
"YES! Mother?" As she heard her mother's yell, she came back to her senses.
Honestly she had studied how to treat a wounded patient, she knows what to do and what not to do. She also knows that you need to concentrate on the job but it was the first time for her to see so many soldiers who were bleeding a lot or lost their limbs. Some of them are quiet, who knows if they accepted their fate or already left the world.
Out of her daze she looked at her mother who now a little tired but still look quite strong willed.
"Sarah, of all these years I have taught you how to treat people since that's what your wish. Now we needed every bit of help, I know this is your first time experiencing a war, with all the injured people you see, but we all need to move. We can save one more life if we keep our focus, remember you chose this yourself, for the people who you want to save." As a mother she only hope for their kids to have the best and to have a happy childhood experience. But fate doesn't think so. Her eldest is now a doctor who has the burden of their patients life, and her youngest daughter who choose to fight and who knows what has happened.
She really wants to let her first daughter to rest and also drag her youngest back, but as a Queen she needs to first take care of her citizens and can only pray nothing bad happened to Scarlet.
"Yes mother, I'm sorry I just blanked out. I'll get the medicines now." Sarah slapped her cheeks and ready to go call someone.
"MAKE WAY! MAKE WAY! THE PRINCESS IS INJURED!!"
