'Hah. It was worth a try.' David sighed, and walked off in to the distance.
The valley stretched much further than he had anticipated. It started off narrow near the hut, but continued widened as it went on.
Further down the valley, a stream bubbled up from the ground, widening further down. Even through the mist David could glimpse the flashing of fish in the clear water.
"There it is." After David neared the middle of the valley, he spotted an enormous Earthen Cattle.
It was drinking from the stream, and stood another meter taller than the others around it. It was wider than the other cattle, with a large hump on its shoulders.
