"Ahm, actually, I need to-" David tried to think of an excuse, but Misu interrupted him.
"Sit. Sit!" She patted the chair next to her excitedly.
"I thought I'd be so bored on this trip!" Misu exclaimed happily, causing David to sigh internally. Surely Misu hadn't one sidedly assumed he was going to chat to her constantly during the trip.
As soon as David sat down, Misu started firing off questions rapidly.
"Do you like Lightharbor! It's such an interesting city isn't it! The angels are so amazing to watch! And the cathedral! Isn't it a remarkable piece of architecture!" David let her talk, taking the opportunity to pick up one of the pastries on the table.
"I wonder what their home plane looks like! If they can build such an awesome structure! But it can't be compared to Atlantis!"
She talked on and on, asking questions and answering them herself, whilst David smiled and nodded, munching away at the food in front of him.
