Hearing Shye's words, Siegfried walked closer to the dried-up Dragrex, poking it a few times with his katana.
Since there was no response from the creature, the two grew bolder, cautiously approaching and struggling to lift a few body parts and allowing it to fall back down to confirm that the Dragrex was truly dead.
"Phew…seems like we did it."
"Yeah, you did great, Sieg."
After a quick fist bump, the two started butchering the Dragrex's corpse, harvesting the quest requirements and dividing the loot evenly.
Inevitably, though, they managed to dig out the Dragrex's monstrous core.
"Hey, Sieg, can I have the core?" Shye asked bluntly.
There was no need to talk circles with his close friend as they both knew each other's personality quite well.
