Although she was able to give Chaos a few wounds here and there, the slippery scout-class commander either gracefully dodged or masterfully parried the lethal blows, which only resulted in minor wounds—far from what the heroine suffered.
The remaining WAA agents—two titled adventurers and three champions—attempted to gang up on Chaos, hoping to capitalize on what they perceived as the "harrowing injuries" he had sustained in his fight with Esmeralda.
However, he had suffered no such injuries.
In the end, their decision only hastened the downfall of their army, as there was no one left to contain the squadron captains of the Chaos elites.
